The prices are wrong (often the beer). They are always in their favor of course... They sell us beer produced in 2022 and expired in April 2023 (we are in July 2023) IGA is the most expensive place with poor management. For expired cheeses, they don't want to reduce them for us claiming that we could be sick. Those who don't pay attention by not looking at the dates, IGA doesn't bother them. The Xtra Lean Ground Steak which is actually lean... I bought 6 pastries (sign indicates no taxes). At the checkout, he wanted to charge the taxes because the clerk had put it in 2 boxes. Neither the cashier nor the clerk have you comply with the law. The Manager was not there of course..

Got a pre-made Cesar salad packaged from the IGA themselves the same day, I now have gastrointestinal issues. Lettuce was definitely not washed properly and I got sick. I would avoid the pre-made salads.

We spent 300-400$ a week at your location for well over 3 years. Last weekend I brought back two 5 gallon water bottles. Both identical but one was selection and the other Amaro.
You guys would not take the selection bottle for a replacement. I wanted to replace both bottles. I didn’t really say much but they are the same and it shouldn’t matter. But your staff made me walk away.
Today I went to Metro on de la gare, which is the equivalent distance for us. They took both with a smile and I got my two filled bottles.
Lesson here, you lost a faithful customer because you would not take a water bottle. I really hope this makes it to upper management as I know these bottles get refunded no matter what. We will now take our weekly business to Metro and be faithful to them from now on as they took your bottle back with a smile and no argument.

Pricey for sure, but it is always fun to go there.
The cashiers always take the time to give balloons to the kids. They even have small carts for kids to practice/learn grocery shopping. Niche and local products are on display. Just always an overall pleasant experience.

Sébastien, the store manager, called out a 16-year-old employee for dreaming of him working on her breasts in the air. Intolerable towards a minor or anyone!

Lots of different groceries to choose from. The 2 Staff members at the checkout were polite and can speak English and French perfectly. The only thing I noticed was the pricing on some items were a little more expensive when compared to maxi, Super C, etc. Otherwise it's a nice location to get your groceries

This store racially profiles. I got told I can’t wear a bag inside the store, I understand and comply, yet I walk past 2 middle age white women with backpacks on and employees say nothings even when they’re working in the same aisle. It’s 2024, if you’re going to have policies like this, be consistent with all your clients.
