The view is great and the staff are pleasant, but unfortunately everything else falls short of expectations. The food is all right; I've had better for less and far worse for more. The rooms could use some TLC and one of the spas is in need of servicing. None of this would be a big deal were it not for the $350+ price tag on the room. Definitely not worth it.

The rooms are very correct, clean and spacious. There is no real elevator for the rooms above. The catering is not good and not up to the high price with a service that is too long. The breakfast with not good coffee and overcooked pastries and always a service that is much too long

Very nice and cozy hotel with good comfort. Fantastic location right on the water, large green area and a small but family-friendly pool.
Staff very friendly and all spoke English, which was not a given in other hotels in Quebec.
The only drawback is that breakfast has to be reserved and places are limited.
Overall, a clear recommendation.

A suite with a shared balcony, what a horror. The mattress was hollow. Very noisy. The shower was covered in mold and grime around the bottom edge. The comforter had suspicious stains. On the website when we booked, we were told an evening menu x on the outdoor terrace, because we were told that the dining room was under renovation. When we arrived there, it was no longer the same menu. The evening meal was still on the terrace, but everything was served with fries bistro menu style. At $400 a night I expected to eat something else, let's say more glamorous, and especially not on small, square, stained tables, without any clean tablecloths, only cheap little placemats. Nothing gourmet at this inn. Lots of unfortunate changes since the previous owners sold the inn. We went to eat elsewhere in a good restaurant in Trois-Rivières and we weren't the only ones. It is sad to see a place with such a beautiful view of Lake St-Pierre deteriorate so much. We will never go back there again!

Several years ago we went to this place several times and we were very satisfied. We decided to go back, but what a disappointment! Firstly the room: we booked a suite and we were very disappointed, not very clean, hollow bed and you can feel the springs, very noisy. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired, the shower had mold and dirt encrusted all around, the shower mat which was originally transparent is now brownish (I'll leave you with some photos), the bed had a comforter on it which was not in a cover, simply placed between 2 flat sheets, this comforter was stained and seemed to have had better days.... The bed was so uncomfortable that when we woke up we were sore, this mattress was in dire need of repair 'be changed. The suite we had was very noisy, some neighbors were walking very loudly, others were running, they kept us like that until 11:00 p.m., so not the ideal place if you want to rest.
The restaurant: we relied on the menu listed on their website, mistake... The restaurant is not open in the evening, we have to go eat on the terrace and a completely different menu is offered to us. I would describe this as a small bistro menu, little choice, everything is served with fries and the majority of dishes are spicy, the outside tables are stained and there are only simple placemats, we are very far from the old restaurant of the inn which served us good gourmet meals. We obviously didn't eat there!!!
So for almost $400 for one night we were very disappointed, we do not recommend and we will never return.

Simple remark, lack of accompaniment on the lunch plate, absence of fruit or tomato salad and the toasts are not buttered

Wonderful Auberge. Very nice place. Terrace was wonderful, right by the water, there is a spa and a pool which you can relax in. People and staff were very friendly. And the beds in room were very comfortable. TV in the room and access to Wi-Fi. You can take a stroll From the Terrace down to the lake and walk along the Lakeshore. Hearing the waves hit the rocky beach. Very peaceful and calming.
Rooms: Rooms for very nice beds with very comfortable

We liked this hotel. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was nice. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. It had what we were looking for in a one night stopover. We'd go there again.

We booked this as a stopping point between Montreal and Quebec city. The reviews seemed good, which was quite deceiving. The location is nice but the room was crusty and the place smelled like an old church. We were looking forward to a dip in the hot tub but, after struggling to remove the heavy cover, we discovered the jets did not work. I don't think the hot tub had been serviced for a while. The pool looked good but was not heated and the mosquitoes kept us from using it. There was a heat pump in the room, which helped to keep it cool but also made a lot of noise. I don't think that had been properly serviced, either. We slept. We left. Not worth the price. Stay elsewhere.
