I hired Valerie for a consulting job; she quoted me $500, billed me over $1,500. I was never notified the price was going to go up. I later found out from contacting the Chambres des Notaires that she gave me incorrect consulting advice. So I literally paid $1,500 for incorrect advice.

Highly recommend using another notary, specifically Robert Downey in nearby Lennoxville. 5 separate notaries were easily able to do what she claimed she could not do for us when finalizing the papers for the purchase of our home. We agreed to pay her $800 just to make her go away and be done with the hassle.
