I'm going to stick to the facts and it's up to you to judge whether you trust the Auto Center or their U-Haul services. I bring the truck back 3/8 as I took it. The owner tells me he is absolutely certain it was half, with no proof. He finally decides to make me pay for the in-between "so that it still costs me a little less." After communicating with U-Haul customer service (very good service), they confirmed to me that with the photos taken initially, that it was 3/8. They refunded me with apologies. I called the owner back to present the reality to him. Not apologizing, he instead replies "we must have been siphoned off"... very implausible to say the least.

Had a great experience here. They got my A/C going for me within an hour. Great mechanics, friendly, reasonable prices, and no one tried to up-sell me on anything. They fixed the problem and I was on my way. I would definitely go back to them.

Questionable honesty on the part of the owner.
On October 24, 2017, around 3 p.m., I went to the garage to rent a trailer that I would like to have for a day. I ask if I can bring it back at the end of my work day, the next day, but after 5 p.m. I was told yes, but that two days would be charged. I was also told that it would be okay if I came back to rent it about half an hour before closing, at 5 p.m., and that it would be as busy as a single day. So I come back at the agreed time; I rent the trailer and bring it back the next day between 6 and 7 p.m. Everything is going well and an email, received the next day, tells me that only one day was busy. Perfect, nothing to say.
About a week later, on November 2, 2017, I again need a trailer which I would also like to rent for a day and then return it after my working day and therefore after the store closes. So I return to the garage around 4:45 p.m. (a little before closing). I rent it, then on November 3 (the next day) I make my delivery with the trailer. I returned it on November 4, around 7:50 a.m. (before the garage opened), telling myself that there was no real difference between returning it at 7 p.m., on November 3 (while the garage was closed), or well at 7:50 a.m. on November 4 (while the garage was not yet open). Well yes, this time I was charged with two days, telling me that it wasn't the same context... In my book, it's the same context. Judge by yourself.
*Little thing worth pointing out*
I brought the trailer back the next morning, because I took the time to wash it before returning to the garage. If you're in a bit of a hurry, don't worry about it. Bring back the dirty one. You'll be charged about fifteen dollars extra because of this, but you won't pay a full extra 24 hours.
