Über or Taxi, I would never advise you to go there for a mechanical check. After analysis, the technician told me that it was necessary to repair the column seal, cost me $440.and the 4 link it, But after verification and replacement by my own mechanic, he found that the part was still in good condition including column seal
Two days before the mechanical inspection, the roadside inspection had thoroughly inspected my four tires and mentioned that they were still good until the start of winter (2 or 3 weeks). However, the technician insisted that I replace them immediately, even though they were still in good condition.

Go on your way and see another mechanic. I had my vehicle repaired. After analysis, the advisor tells me that I need to repair such and such things on my vehicle otherwise it will be finished. After having obtained the opinion of several experts, it turned out that the advisor of this place was trying to make me pay more for repairs that were not urgently necessary. I changed mechanics. I am now happy.

Thank you very much for the good service, it was for a SAAQ mechanical check and I could not find a nearby appointment in Quebec so I contacted the garage and they offered me the next day I was very happy to be able to continue to work quickly, thank you for understanding and listening too. Thank you to all the friendly people at Lajeunesse et Frères. Our old VW Rialta RV threw a bearing while traveling around Quebec City, 800+ miles from home. It was nearly impossible to find a shop to work on it, but the folks at Lajeunesse et Frères were happy to help. Parts are very tough to find for this unusual vehicle, so they sourced what they could immediately and repaired it in a day. They let me know that other work was needed, but it was safe to complete our family vacation. Without their help, we would have been stuck for days at least and would have to fly the family home. Instead, we were able to enjoy the beautiful area before getting the kids back home for school.
They completed the work very well and surprisingly quickly. The cost was very reasonable and the people were helpful and great to work with.

Unfortunately very disappointed with the service ? Several problems in the hours and days following my purchase. There were also errors in the document for the SAAQ which then refused me... another error in the second document, luckily, the lady from the SAAQ accepted me seeing my discouragement, no compensation from the seller and I sent my car to another garage the following week... $$$!

Purchase of a DODGE in September 2023. The seller assured me that the car was in good condition, and that no charges were expected in the coming months. In the end, it is necessary to change the two rear brake calipers, discs and pads, which are completely rusty and non-functional. Both doors and the underbody are also completely rusted. For my safety, and that of my family, I have to pay around 2000 additional dollars in an emergency.
