Splendid seaside colors, the swing at the water's edge, everything is perfect, except the bathrooms, toilets and showers to be redone, a sink for the dishes is missing. See the hygiene of the sanitary facilities???
Otherwise I'm going back in 2025! For a glance!

Not at all suitable for spontaneous camping; the campsite closes at 6 p.m. If you arrive later, you will find yourself in front of a closed gate with no way to communicate with the establishment. Poorly maintained bathroom
Toilets: Poorly maintained

I leave 2 stars for the magnificent view of the river and the whales. However, we are disappointed with our experience at the campsite. We find it unacceptable that seasonal workers are allowed to carry out major work (noisy) in high season, especially since the land is very narrow. We were camped from August 29 to 31 at field #7. The seasonal worker from plot 8 had a patio built during these dates. So we had saws and drills in the background!! Having two young children under 3 years old, we had to leave the site for their nap, although we thought we had chosen a beautiful campsite to stay on site... Moreover, on a magnificent morning when we thought we would take our quiet café facing the river, their work started at 7:30 a.m.!! This is unacceptable for people who pay hoping to rest a little during their vacation. This type of work should only be accepted out of season or at least during reasonable hours. We hope this comment is constructive, as I believe the situation would be easy to improve.

Nice overall experience. To be direct on the beach you couldn't ask for better. I was at lot #106, the website said it was with electricity only but in fact it was with water only.
Toilet block OK, needs a little love but works well! There are functional outlets to recharge devices.
Not very quiet campsite. The site is not deep but a good width.
I would happily return despite everything for the exceptional location!
Toilets: Functional, relatively clean.
Dog-friendliness: Dog accepted on a leash

I made a reservation by telephone for a site between #29 to 41 and they confirmed to me that everything was ok and they gave me my number.
After 2 1/2 hours of driving, surprise, my site was given to another RV and they forced me onto a really uninteresting site. Between 2 large RVs and no view.
Discussion with those in charge and they tell me all these lies!!! Don't want to refund me. Conclusion: Flee these liars who are only out to cheat tourists!
Very disappointed to have traveled all these kilometers for this more than disappointing result!

This is a beautiful campsite, run by the municipality, and with a great view of the river, located right next to the ferry terminal. When we were there, it was somewhat crowded (I would consider it being cramped) and we got a river view site up on the hill. The view of the water is amazing. The sites are a bit small, I thought. We paid $38 (2 services) for the upper level site, all the sites by the water were already booked.
There are lot of seasonal campers here as well, and seem a bit arrogant LOL.
This site is very close to the town and there are few dining options.

We've been to this campsite twice now and I simply love it and I'm picky, I have to say. The land facing the river is just perfect. Even with the road passing above, we can't hear anything down below. The toilets are clean, there are swings and fire pits. It's calm and beautiful.

Nice view but lack of privacy between campsites. Camping more for motorhomes than tents.

Incredible view we saw belugas and a seal, fishing on the municipal wharf, very quiet place and beach a few seconds walk away. No activity for young people and very narrow location but for the rest it is a dream place!Playground: Mini play area for young children.Restrooms: Very clean and laundry area (with coins).Dog-friendliness: Dogs are accepted on a leash almost everywhere, be careful, the rules of the leash are not respected by everyone and seem to toleratePicnic area: Everything is very well maintained.
