Whenever we visit Montreal from Western NY, we try to swing by IKEA. It's only 10 minutes from my in-laws and now that we have a van, we can actually buy some toys and furniture for our 2 year old. I haven't been to any other IKEAs in last decade, so I can't compare. However it seems like a big IKEA with all its offerings. They have a large cafeteria and parking is surprisingly well laid out (or maybe I just got lucky with finding a spot).

We got an ok service with returns (despite long lineup)However, cafeteria service needs improvement. Staff arrogant. Here is a picture of Ikea's coffe (apparently Starbucks lol)...on the pic. It's decaf on top and regular coffe on the botton (one would think it's tea). Tastes awful...lunch menu used to be better too?

Ikea is always an adventure. But you need to go with the right people, and know what kind of things to buy from there. The very low price range stuff can be cheap looking. You want to go for aesthetics, decor, and select furniture pieces. Also they have very solid coffee and cinnamon buns, as well as their Swedish meatball lunch. Can't be mad.

From the expansive customer service area to the cute 'snack shack and market' area to the even more expansive restaurant space - all of which have been completely made over since my last visit long ago. I was very pleasantly surprised by these noticeable improvements. All had very friendly and efficient staff and I must say the fish n potatoes n peas n tartar sauce want half bad. Glad to see the prices are still reasonable and their is enough choice - including vegetarian Swedish meatballs. It's kind of fun, being transported to Sweden for a time while you are there and obviously this is part of the experience and what they are going for. It truly is one of the best marketing concepts in the world.Interestingly, the reviews are all over the shop literally with a good bunch in ever star category which averages to three - right in the middle. I can imagine the day and time of the week you go makes an impact on the experience. I went on a weekday evening, so my experience would have been a lot more stressful on a busy weekend during the day - I can imagine.

What other place can you both eat some pretty delicious food and furnish your home. IKEA is a staple in my house hold because they have such a vast variety of things so weather your missing something in your kitchen or bedroom or bathroom you'll be able to find it here. On all occasions that I have visited ikea the staff has always been kind and helpful. The store itself has a lady out that takes you through all sections of a home but you can easily skip through by following the designated short cuts. After all that walking around and shopping you'll probably be hungry and weather you want a light snack like the delicious hot dogs both original and veggie are a steal at a dollar each. Or sit down and have a full meal at the bistro upstairs. Or you can do what I do and start of with hot dogs and end with the bistro or vice versa!

The veggie hot dogs. They're 1$ each. They're super delicious. If you're looking for a veggie dog that tastes like actual hot dog this isn't the one. But if you're looking for something super yummy and cheap? Totally grab the loaded veggie dog.

Quality products are at a very low price. Is it me or where they different before Covid-19? A lot of their products are out of stock and I have witnessed that their staff don't have the soft skills to deal with customers who are trying to figure out what to do with so many products that are out of stock.

Attention Pour un magasin familiale ils ne se gêne pas pour laisser des bébés moins de 1 ans en file d’attente de 30 minutes à l’extérieure au grand froid. Quand on interpelé les responsable à la porte il nous retourne en fin de file même si les gens le supplie de laisser passer le bébé. Quand ont interpelle son superviseur il est très satisfait de la décision de son employé. Grosse félicitation à l’équipe de fin de semaine. Nous espérons qu’en vieillissant votre jugement prennent du mieux.

En général, le service avec vos employés est courtois et parfois même humoristique. Ce qui fait de notre visite chez IKEA une expérience agréable. Ordinairement, nous magasinons à Boucherville. Hier, vendredi, 23 février, venant de l’aéroport, nous avons choisi IKEA Cavendish. Au comptoir de retour, la visite magasinage a mal débuté, l’employée en place a sans doute oublié sa formation IKEA: mauvaises humeur, réponse brusque. Une discutions peu joviale s’est produite avec une autre employée.

Un grand merci à IKEA Mon fils avait perdu son téléphone vendredi soir. Il s'en ai rendu compte le soir même à 21h05 Le lendemain matin je repasse par le magasin pour un nouvel achat. Le téléphone avait rapporté par quelqu'un. J'ai pu le recuperer. :D Une maman contente et un fils heureux ?

Restaurant used to be good... This time food quality very poor. Had to check over a dozen cups before found a clean one! Coffee disgusting. Half of soda fountain dispensing water intead of soda. Food served almost cold. Won't be back!
