I am a general contractor and have been doing all my shopping for clients at Rona, with proof of my consistent purchases over time. Last year, I applied to become a Rona installer and was informed that I would be working with this location. However, in all this time, I haven’t received any job referrals from Rona. Despite making multiple calls and following up, there has been no progress.
It’s disappointing to see so many customers purchasing paint, ceramics, and other materials without being referred to qualified installers like myself, who are already approved by Rona. Given this, I’ve decided to stop buying materials at Rona. If there’s no support for contractors like me—who have been approved installers—there’s no incentive for us to continue supporting your business.
There are other suppliers who prioritize partnerships with general contractors and actively refer jobs to us. While I understand economic challenges, waiting a full year without any job referrals as an approved installer feels unacceptable. I’ve been told that there is another location from which I might receive referrals, yet no jobs have come from there either.
Rona has lost a loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars at your locations. I believe it’s worth investigating internally to understand why approved contractors are not receiving the support that was initially promised.

Normally I am satisfied with the service, but for the second time in a few days, I grrrrr! The service is pitiful, but where is the staff???
Following the flood, which affected several residents, I can't believe there is a shortage of reconstruction materials ?♀️. They tell me to go to the Central Market, well yes, ? with all this traffic....
Meanwhile the contractor is waiting for me to arrive with the 3/8 ceramic rods.
I just got over my frustration, ?

Terrible delivery service. The delivery man calls to say that he will arrive in 2 minutes around 11:30 a.m., but at 4 p.m. still no delivery man, he cannot be reached. He later claims to have had the wrong address. Really to escape!!

I was there to buy flooring, the clerk told me i should buy it and the bundles are open, he then looked at me while I was putting 12 packages on to a cart alone, he was buzzy watching his phone (tiktok-youtube...) I did advise the manager after my purchase, she was very nice and I'm sure she toke care of it after i left. Staff should not be aloud to have their phones while working in the public.

Horrible service I've been trying to call for over an hour and no one answers they're doing it on purpose and it seems that people don't want to work I think go to the Home Depot it's better and hire people who want to work and who answer the phone I dare to believe that it must not be very busy it's not service Canada and what's more they hang up on me

Horrible experience. Placed an order for the delivery and paid for it in advance at the Prodesk then scheduled and paid a crew to install the materials ( baseboards and trims) on the scheduled delivery day and no delivery showed up. Tried to call since 9am in the morning till 2pm and no one is picking up the phone. Who is going to pay for the loss due the delivery was never made and me paying a crew waiting all day? Even bother updating your client if you're going to reschedule so I can reschedule my human resources. Unbelievably unprofessional!

The customer service at Rona was terrible. I dealt with a woman who was extremely unpleasant and clearly disinterested in her job. It might be time to review your recruitment criteria.

Very disappointed with this customer service, employees on the phone with their families, who look at you but don't hang up, only to finally give you an aisle number. Besides, they are well trained for aisle numbers but to help you with anything else, no.
