Called on a Thursday for Friday pick & delivery before 11am. Paid for that service. Driver didn't show up at 11. I called & was told he was "busy" during his route & would be here in 30 minutes. Not. Still waiting 45 mi utes later. Asked for a rebate due to not arriving on time & was told she'd pass on the message. First & last time using Globex. Customer service sucks.

I have been handling shipping imports and exports both locally and internationally for years and I can count on one hand the number of times I've received good and fast service from a shipping company. Globex is one of them. I had the pleasure to work with Scott Curran, Sales and Customer Service Director for my shipment from Montreal to New York City. Scott was easy to reach and quick to respond to our last minute changes on our shipment. He even let us know precisely what time the driver would be in front of the building without me asking, something I was pleasantly surprised with as I am used to having to reach out to call centers and wait an hour to get a hold of someone. I was overall very happy with my experience and will be using Globex again in the future. Thanks again Scott!

I had purchased some art from an artist in Texas, to be delivered to Thornhill, ON. The piece was heavy and fragile and documented so. Globex decided to pass the buck to DHL. There was obviously some carelessness along the way as the package was sent across the US to Vancouver, back to the US, back to Vancouver and finally to Ontario (see screenshot of its worldly travel). I paid over $600 in customs fees and taxes. When it arrived, the artwork was broken. The art work was insured through Globex. They put up a fight saying they only cover art for materials through insurance. There's no point in getting art insured if they only cover the $50 of materials. Eventually they settled but for significantly less than they should have. A massive disappointment!
