Basically the score is 0 stars as my gift card was refused at the La Belle & La Boeuf restaurant in Boucherville.
Already the restaurant choices on this map are ordinary ?
It seems that their machine hasn't been working for a while now and that nothing is happening on the Foodtastic side...
I see from the previous comments that this seems to be a very common situation as well!! What a disappointment and very bad reputation. A great scam after all!!
I'm sure I'm spreading the word...

TERRIBLE COMPANY.
Zero customers service at franchise level, head office level nor any interest in customers whatsoever.
Zero employees who answer/ respond emails, neither at franchise-store level, nor head office in marketing, customers service, nothing. Six emails in total to various areas and zero response whatsoever, not even a confirmation of receiving them or auto response.
At store level you have rude and unhappy staff who chastise you for using the foodtastic gift cards because the way the company is “setup” according to an angry employee.
Meanwhile, so many complaints on restaurants and in reviews and never any responses from franchise owners or head office.
Not sure what is happening at this place, but it’s not working. Unhappy staff at restaurant level, seemingly no leadership or owners who care or pay attention at the franchise level and same goes when you try and contact head office at foodtastic.

Hello, it is with great regret that I decided to stop for a bite, with my wife and my sister at the Nickel de Joliette. this Friday, May 25, 2024 around 3:30 p.m., it all starts when we arrive, I ask the waitress for a table on the shopping center side, she refuses my request, despite the fact that there are only two Busy tables throughout the restaurant. She therefore sends us to the back to explain to us in an annoyed tone, that it is to have a fair ratio of customers per waitress, then when paying the bill with my credit card, seeing that I do not I didn't leave a tip on the card, she always asks me in a cavalier tone, if I would give her her tip in cash. Then that's not all, at the time of departure, while I went through the bathroom , she intimidated my wife and my sister by insisting that she had not yet received her tip. My sister felt obligated to give him something right then and there. Great way to build customer loyalty, you won't see me again.

Horrible franchisor. They take all your money and don’t care about helping you after that. Little or no service, even if you are paying them thousands of dollars a month. Furthermore, you need a lot of their help because they are making plenty of mistakes which are making you losing money.

Very very bad service. My card was rejected in 2 restaurants and despite my efforts to resolve the situation since the end of November, nothing has been done on Foodtastic's side.Don't buy their gift card...it's not a gift.

Lost $50 with their gift card. The card was declined by a Nickels restaurant. We contacted Foodtastic who washed their hands of it. Sad.

Staff at shoeless joes had no clue how to process virtual gift card. Wouldn’t buy online. buyer beware! Had to have an awkward situation at the restaurant when it came time to pay

I am making a complaint for the protection of the consumer today, because this company is THEFT, and FALSE ADVERTISING!The list of restaurants is long, but most of them do not take the FOODTASTIC CARD!I wrote because the O COQ restaurant in Laval des Rapides refused me yesterday. Foodtasctic customer service replied that it was temporary, while at the restaurant I was told that it would no longer work, so I looked for another business: ROTISSERIE BENNY, but there are ONLY the locations on the south shore that accept cards, none in Mtl and the North!I am making a complaint for the protection of the consumer today, because this company is THEFT, and FALSE ADVERTISING!The government has established laws regarding gift cards, but I believe that FOODTASTIC has not yet been monitored.... An acquaintance of ours paid $80 for the gift card, but it is not being used properly.Michael T

DO NOT BUY THEIR GIFT CARD!!! I purchased a $100 gift card for my parents. The card was refused at Nickels and Au Coq in Laval. I have been trying to get a refund for over a month. They initially told me that they were going to process a refund and then, they referred me to a gift card provider for a refund even if my purchase was done directly on the foodtastic website. They are impossible to reach by phone and don't respond to their emails. Folks, save your money and DON'T BUY THE FOODTASTIC GIFT CARD!
