I went to get my tires and oil changed this fall. I was assured that it would cost me $40 for new bolts for my winter tires. However, I have had the same car since 2006 and this is the first time that a mechanic has tried to sell me different bolts for winter. For the oil change, they used synthetic oil without asking me. On a car of this age! So I was shocked to be charged $296 for these two routine tasks. Furthermore, they had not put my summer tires back in my trunk. I had to go back and get them. I won't go back there, that's for sure.
