I travel from Nova Scotia to Toronto and back often and this has been our go to stop as we also have a dog (2 adults, 1 dog). The location is right off the highway. We enjoy this place because we do have a dog that isn't that friendly so it's easy access for us. The showers also have great water pressure. Also been able to book same-day 99% of the time (one time it was full). We've been here at least 6 times in the past 2 years and we have no complaints. Actually, only complaint is (it's not their fault), I wanted to order pizza at like 1 am and there was nothing around haha.

Small, inexpensive and very clean room. Great service when answering questions from silly client (me). Quiet area less than 10 kilometers south of Rivière-du-Loup, where there are several good restaurants and fast food outlets, for all tastes and budgets. Found through Expedia. Literally 200 meters from highway 85 North, perfect stopping point for someone travelling west through Québec on the way to Montréal or Ottawa. Cable TV, wi-fi, bath & shower, mini fridge and complimentary coffee for that morning java requirement.

Website says rooms starting at $75/night. It is double that.

If you want an epic stay. As in them charging your credit card at 10 am when check in is after 3pm and then they give away one of the 2 rooms you booked a month ago only to argue with you on a phone outside the office at 10 pm rather than face you and resolve the problem. When the guests have been on the road for 10 hours. The solution : to have 5 people share a tiny 1 room and 1 person having to sleep in a car. Then we discovered that the 1 bathroom that 6 people have to share has BLACK MOLD along the tub!!This room would be perfect for filming a homicide movie in it, now if that's what you're looking for then this is the place for you, as our first night of our east coast road trip was a complete nightmare!! BEWARE and find somewhere else to stay!!

Nice, clean and easily accessed from highway motel. Check was done electronically so arrival & departure times were flexible. Nothing fancy but a comfy bed & clean room- I would recommend it to overnight travellers.

Completely atrocious behavior of staff and manager and unprofessional service. Reserved 2 rooms for 1 night they charged our credit card before we even arrived at the motel to check in. They gave away one of our already reserved rooms. With conformation code and recipt of reservations being confirmed. They told us the manager was coming to sort it out, and they never showed up and had a cleaning staff come out to deal with us. Someone who has no authority to help in any way but clean the rooms. We traveled from waterloo Ontario, and they would rather be argumentative than try to sort out the issue. Do not stay here they're fraudulent scammers.

Had accident last night on the highway and needed a place at midnight. Answered the phone right away. Took my information and had a code for my room within a few minutes. Basic accommodations, but easy to access and clean. Tim Hortons right there and fuel station as well. I'd stay again if passing through and needed a spot.

Price does not reflect quality. We had to move rooms due to what appeared to us to be something black on the woodwork in the bathroom. We were charged $35 for our small dog and with taxes it was not a good deal at $172.56. The room, especially the bathroom was small, old, and poorly finished. Not a bargain. It was as clean as possible considering the old carpet and dingy bathroom. The only convenience was it was close to the highway.

Charged us 172.55 total for 2 adults, one dog, one night. The place is basic northern-camp-worker sleep units with no staff there at all - we were given a code to enter. Comfortable beds but with crumbling plaster, scratchy towels, grey walls, no food, no staff. We (same people and dog) stayed in Edmunston Comfort Inn on the way home for $130 total for a large room with new decor, queen bed, high grade linens, gleaming bathroom, and couch plus a great hot breakfast and friendly staff. This is a barest-bones, no-one-there place for $43 more than a truly comfortable staffed motel. Beyond basic and price is way too high for what you get and don't get.

Needed a last minute place to stay. Very friendly gentleman answered the phone and got us a room. The room is shockingly clean (not used to motels being nice)

I didn’t even stay and was charged for the room. After booking for a Saturday and checkout on Sunday. They had me down for the Sunday and while I didn’t even stay there, was still charged for the room. Save your money and go somewhere else. Or even just save your money.

It's a motel, nothing fancy. But it's clean. Pets are $25 extra. Keyless and cardless door. Punch in your code to enter. Good place to stop for the night.

My partner and I booked through BringFido for an overnight with our dog while driving from Toronto to Halifax. Despite booking through BringFido, the fact we were bringing a dog wasn't communicated to the staff through the web booking. When they called to let us know our door code (no keys to worry about), they added the pet charge to the room easily without needing to switch rooms. You can drive right up to your door, although a semi truck pulling a boat was blocking our door and the 7 next to it the whole time, which wasn't ideal. The staff are friendly and speak fluent English which was very helpful. The room was surprisingly modern for a motel and featured a mini-fridge with freezer, coffee and coffee maker, TV and microwave. The bathroom wasn't particularly clean and the towels had a bad smell to them. The bed was comfortable and overall it met our needs as a place to rest our heads with our dog. I'd probably stay again. It is right next to a Tim Hortons and a pharmacy, and a short drive away from a supermarket and beautiful park.
