**THIS IS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM A REVIEW OF THIS SPECIFIC STORE OR IT'S STAFF. I JUST DIDN'T KNOW WHERE ELSE TO VOICE MY COMPLAINT. THIS IS AIMED AT THE OWNER , PRESIDENT, CEO , OR WHOEVER IS THE DECISION MAKER**Monday I was going to purchase 3 Lego sets but realized that all three were 30 to 45$ more expensive than at the Lego store or Walmart. When informed at the cash that Lego could not be price matched I asked to speak to the manager. I'm not usually fussy but just by driving 2 minutes to either the Lego store or Walmart ( both of which are in walking distance of toys r us ) I would be able to spend 120$ less.The manager , who was extremely nice and personable , informed me that this was the policy and he couldn't do anything about it. That the higher ups made a decision and nothing could be done at store level.I asked if the higher ups knew that by refusing this price match they preferred losing out on a 600$ ... This is absolutely ludicrous. I then went home and checked our receipts of Lego we had bought last week and compared with Lego store, the 2 sets we had bought ended up being 70$ cheaper combined.So on Tuesday we brought them back and got refunded to then go buy then at the Lego store.We saved almost 200$ and at the Lego store we can accumulate loyalty points. So I'm sorry but no more Lego purchases for us in toys r us stores.How greedy is Toys r us ?The only thing you've accomplished is to push our family away... If we need toys or birthday gifts we will go elsewhere.Toys r Us has , by far the most expensive toys and lately there is no staff around to help us find things.Once again, this is not aimed at the store or staff. Just the Scrooge like people sitting in offices making decisions based on greed.Thank you for your time.

If I could give less than one star I would.The customer service in this store is non-existent!the product was defective and George, the so-called store manager, was of no help, not to mention his lack of friendliness and courtesy.He first told me that he had never heard that a bike could have a crooked wheel problem.He did not want to make either an exchange or a refund (after only 5 days from the date of purchase) claiming that the bike had been tested. How do you know it doesn't work if you don't try it?He asked me to come back another day because he didn't have time today and he had to try the bike himself to find out what the problem was. I left empty-handed with the impression of having been called a LIAR... WHAT A FRUSTRATION!!!I have neither the time nor the desire to go back and be treated like this in order to recover my 3-year-old daughter's missed birthday present!!

Faded. It smells old and dusty as soon as you walk through the doors. I don't understand the new HMV section at the expense of removing other items. The selection of doggies is disappointing compared to other stores in the chain.

I was just there today 3/20 around 12:45 and was served by John or Shawn. He was wearing shorts. He went out of his way to help me and made my day. Helped me get the items I was looking for, scanning for prices, guided me to get the current promotional discount ect.. I was beyond satisfied with his help especially since it's hard to get that kind of service these days. Also, the staff I saw were smiling and friendly as well. Excellent staff working today!

There are good prices when there are sales. I purchased several items in this store for much less than elsewhere, shopping carefully for discounts. Good customer service. The entrance to the store is a bit depressing, though.

Best team .I arrived very panicked, close to the store closing to look for an order that I had just placed 15 minutes before online. They immediately reassured me and each employee was really so kind and had the heart to help me. They found all my items just before closing. This team was simply GREAT. Friday January 19, 2024. Thanks again, great team.

I would like to shout out for 2 girls in your staff at your Laval 440 outlet. First is named Destiny. She walked extra mile to get a product arranged for me by getting it shipped over from Quebec City outlet after talking to the manager. Her concern for the customers stamps the value of your brand in the hearts. My applause to her.Second girl is the only reason that I am a returning time customer to your company. I do not know the name of this girl. Can only define her like this young girl seemed to be of Indian Sub-continent origin. Me and my wife are about to get our first baby and hence were clueless about the strollers & car seats. She explained it patiently and educated us in a way that we were able to get the understanding. Despite not knowing her name, I strongly applaud that girl as her courtesy and stepping into customer shoes to educate him by putting different seats on strollers herself and making us understand was phenomenal.They both are assets to your store.

While they have great choices for decently equipped kids bikes, there’s a lack of service and experience with the “technicians” in the store. So expect to go elsewhere for minor adjustments on your brand new bikes.A 5 minute disc brake adjustment was “estimated” to take 1-2 hours because the guy just didn’t feel like doing it.I called in advance on two separate days this week to confirm that I can come get the bike fixed on the spot this morning. Of course, my three kids and I arrive with the bike only to be told it can’t be done because they’re too busy because it’s Saturday! Couldn’t they have been said yesterday? Why waste everyone’s time and energy and cause so much frustration? Because the weekday employees offer better service than the weekend ones? What a shame.Big waste of time and major lack of service after I was promised a job would be done.

Honestly, I would just boycott Toys R Us. They used to have competitive prices on newer product. But then the pandemic hit and the MSRP on items slightly went up by 10-20%. But Toys R Us got very greedy and decided to raise their prices by 50%. This is unforgivable. Especially when their prices at 85% is STILL MORE than Gamestop's prices at 100%.

Definitely the best Toys R Us! I've been going here for 30 years and the staff and collection have always been amazing.
