Went this morning to this store to buy grocery and I encountered the rudest and obnoxious person I have ever seen in my life. He works in the meat department. This person should not be dealing with customers. I will tell everyone who shops there to avoid this person. I will file to a complaint about this person to the head office.
Update.. I contacted the general store Manager and he was unprofessional and as rude and the first guy. Advise to people! stop shopping at this place.

Good prices for fruits and vegetables, great variety in food products, but there is no real service in the cosmetics and natural products section, I felt that I was disturbing...

I come to this store regularly and overall I have no complaints but today I saw something that should be addressed immediately , a woman in the kitchen was picking food from the oven trays and eating it while working . This is unacceptable, please ensure safety food and hygiene.

I went into this place couple days ago and it smelled pretty good. I asked one of one the workers there what the smell was and I was told it was lemongrass. Pretty obsessed with the scent of it to be honest. I went out of my own way to go visit some stores to try to find the same thing they were using. Became pretty much a staple for me to use. Very nice place ?? LOVE the scent

One of the managers was yelling at two of the female staff (bulk and cafe) in front of everyone. He was yelling that this is a business and customers can’t taste from the bulk or sorbet. Unbelievable the level of abuse that I witnessed along with other customers.
Then the butcher is burning fragrance on his counter and the entire store reeks of it. Forget the fact that it gives a migraine and asthma to many customers and staff. Earlier this week, i told one of the manager and he promised it would never happen again. He also agreed it has no place in a health store and where meat is as it will adhere to it . I asked him if they used it to camouflage the sewage smell that has been for nearly a year - the same smell I told Alino about and he yelled “what do tou want me to do” - smell is by cafe, is toxic and a health hazard. He said yes, they are not cleaning the ducts and traps.

The manager Leslie in skincare is miserable. She talks behind customers’s back and tells customers they lie. She also seems to always be inconvenienced by questions asked. She’s always in a bad mood. The skincare has many products that have no place in a health and organic store. A lot of greenwashing and products with fragrance and other toxic products. They put strong perfume and fragrance that are not essential oils and that are a barrier for access and affect staff and clients (e.g: Pacifica) you quickly know who is there to sell you products and those who actually are intelligent and know it’s toxic.
Go in for large jar glass on top of freezers. The same owner / manager (Alina and the older one with grey hair and glasses) that was there the weekend and in reference here goes “just grab it ”huffs and puffs again. Sure let me fly there. Imagine, perhaps I should apologize for inconveniencing these so called managers while they should be doing their job. The staff saw and said “I know, I have to work with them everyday” then I witness the same tell off a senior woman. Absolutely disgusting. As I suggested before, take the extra drive and go to Avril. Well worth it! If it wasn’t for specific staff there who have been there, I wouldn’t step foot at all.

I spoke to the manager Alino again today. I expressed concern about strong chemical smell in the store and he as attitude and says “what do you want me to do about it” even some staff I spoke to said they have asthma and are not feeling well. I am constantly met with an attitude of what do you want me to do, he huffs and puffs, speaks to his colleagues to say “is it true” (very unprofessional) and finally “I do not have time for this”. I invited him to read the comments here. He takes no responsibility, does not know what or how to be a manager or seek solutions, is arrogant and never solves anything. It’s no wonder 95% of the Tau Pointe-Claire staff left. I also maintain that I have reached out to Gideon Brown, the owner for 2 years with no response. Tau doesn’t care about health and integrity. They care about marketing and business and are full of greenwashing.

I’ve Had a bad taste in my mouth for many years now. Long time customer since the old location, I’ve seen all the staff but a few left leave due to the same issues they notice. We became friends over time and they all left. Most of the staff, except a few talk amongst themselves, are rude, smell strong perfume and the quality is not there. The fruits are almost always rotten, big clouds of white, flies on them and it’s sickening. I drive now to Avril in Laval to do my groceries and only go to Tau for emergencies, in and out. I’ve called several times head office and explained in length issues at hand, with no response ever. A former employee told me to post here, I said that’s not the approach I found kind and helpful. Staff was very friendly but the place is super expensive. I realized after it was an organic store which explains the high pricing.
