I bought an Oris Aquis Date watch worth close to $3,000 at Hemsley's, and when I had a problem with the watch, I went to the store to get service. Unfortunately, the reception was disappointing. The person who received me seemed neither willing nor able to serve me in French. As soon as I said “hello”, she answered me only in English and made no effort to address me in the official language of our province, Quebec.
It's a shame, because Hemsley's offers a nice selection of watches, but in terms of customer experience, it's very unsatisfactory. If you pay the price for an in-store experience, you expect the service to meet customer expectations and be offered in their language. For future purchases, I'll likely turn to online options like Jomashop, where I can find more competitive prices without feeling disappointed by a lack of effort to respect local customers.
In short, a beautiful store, but service that leaves something to be desired.

I recently purchased a Tissot T-My Lady automatic with a light green dial. It looks outstanding, getting so many compliments. The service at Hemsleys is top notch. If you're looking for quality and service, this place is hard to beat. I will definitely buy here again :)

Amazing service (no pressure to buy) and lots of inventory to choose from.
Prices are the same as what you see online, however you get your watch right away :)

I was looking for a place to put back the original oyster bracelet on my submariner (I had switched it for.Vulcan Rubber B bracelet but missed the classic look of the bracelet) and happened to call Hemsleys to see if they would do it and for what price: Not only did they agree to do it but they told me it was a free service. I showed up not totally believing it was going to be the case, but boy was I wrong. I met a gentleman named Richard who took incredible care of me and offered to buff out a few micro scratches on the bracelet and watch. We chatted about his trip to Geneva and his thoughts on the latest from Watches And Wonders, he let me try on his personal Bell & Ross he just brought back from Geneva (which was a stunning watch I might add).
All this to say, I rarely write Google reviews but this one is more than deserved. These guys understand how a business should be operated and clearly see the value of servicing customers and connecting with people. The watch I serviced was purchased elsewhere and it was a problem for them at all. They didn’t charge me a thing and turned down my offer to give them some cash for it.
They went above and beyond for me, it’s only fair that I do too.
I will be servicing all my watches here moving forward and firmly intend on becoming one of their customers in the near future.
I highly recommend this store and its people.
You will be in great hands, trust me.

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience at Hemsleys. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance exuded elegance. I went to first purchase my wife’s engagement ring - the staff was very knowledgeable, and the owner himself guided me through choosing and finding the perfect diamond for my future wife’s engagement ring. Following that, we went back to buy our wedding bands and the staff once again went above and beyond. Their collection of jewelry and watches is amazing. We already went back to buy diamond earrings and it was certainly not our last purchase. Every time we leave, we feel like cherished customers and we're excited to return for future special occasions. Highly recommend this gem of a store to anyone in search of quality jewelry, exceptional service, and the perfect jewelry for every special moment in life. Our visit to Hemsleys for wedding bands was disappointing. Despite our excitement, we felt subtly judged about our choice of a lab diamond for the engagement ring. The jeweler's smug comments about the diamond's clarity were humiliating. We tried to make the best of it by exploring their selection to better understand what we wanted but ultimately decided to look elsewhere for our purchase.

I bought a Tissot T-Touch Expert Solar at least 5 years ago and Not from Hensleys.When the watches battery symbol kept displaying, I brought my watch to Hemsleys for repair and paid $170 to send it to an authorized Tissot repair centre, which they did.Unfortunately, the watch came back - worked for a few months and then the battery symbol came back.At no additional costs to me, Hemsley’s sent the watch back two more times and this last time they called before they sent it back, They elevated the importance of the repair making sure Tissot understood that they needed to try everything they could to fix it.Today my watch came back in a beautiful box and velvet pouch and was completely restored and works like a charm.Cost to me was nothing except for the original $170 repair which included the shipping fee.On the repair slip given to me when I received the watch today, is a very long list (very long!) of all the changes and adjustments and tests and repairs they did to get it working again!I paid nothing for that, above the original $170 already paid.If you go online, and Google this watch and the battery replacement, you will see that if the battery can NOT be replaced, Tissot offers several options all of which are charged to the customer.Not in my case thanks to Hemsleys!Needless to say, I am now a raving fan of Hemley's Jewellers.
