May 27, 2024 8pm-8:30pmThis is for the lady that was working on this day at that time.I'm leaving a 3 star review because of an employee that made my partner's and my experience non-enjoyable during our shopping.I was shopping around until I hear a employee, to be specific a lady, who's using an angry tone towards my partner. I walk up to the conversation to hear that she is ranting and blaming my boyfriend for leaving a mess behind (we were in the fake flowers section) after we had just picked up a flower and the mess was already there when we arrived, you can go ahead and check the cameras because I know I'm not lying. While this doesn't seem like a big deal, she then proceeds to mention "your people" and "your culture". I work in retail as well, I just came back from my 9-5 job and I get it lady, that you must've had a long day and you see there's more facing to do before the closure. Its frustrating seeing customers undo your facing, but that's our job.I understand you just wanted my partner to be aware of the so-called mess you claim he did but to blame him and proceed to relate it to race and culture is where I draw the line. I slept on whether I should write a comment or not and I believe it's best I do so because you deserve a warning on how you treat customers. A simple comment on just being careful of our surroundings would be sufficient, but you had to take it another notch and rant on my partner, his race and culture just because of the job you've been assigned to do?To add, you are affecting sales by asking clients, in this case my partner, if he was going to buy what he had in his hand to which he replied he wasn't sure and for you to tell him to not take things if he's not buying it?? After this incident, I should've left and not buy anything because of how you treated us, which in consequence makes you lose sales. You should know that you should reinforce clients decisions making when shopping, not downgrade it. It's basic retail sales rule.I hope this review is being seen because for you to act this way towards clients is for sure telling me that this is not your first time doing this.

They changed the phone number to dollarama HQ so they can pay less employees and nowone to answer the phone. Kind of like how they make you scan your own groceries. To pay less employees. They cut the work force to quote on quote " Secure lower pricing for clientele" yet the price only goes up and the service goes down.

Interestingly they sell gift cards for cash only regardless of the amount. I would just stop selling them at all. Who carries cash nowadays? It was such a stupid decision that one becomes aware of from a cashier.Put a notice on your gift card stand.

Many items doesn’t have price labels neither the price label on the shelf! Some items Price just doesn’t make sense! Poor customer service!

I go here often... their service is always great. When there are too many people in the line ups they quickly add other tellers to quickly take care of the line ups!This store is always well stocked with all that Dollaramas carry.Due to all our visitors this summer (tourists) there were a few Mondays that the stock was a bit low but Tuesday seems to be the day their delivery truck comes in and any stock missing is always restocked quickly!
