The staff in the customer service area are subpar. They don't seem to like helping people at all because of they make it very clear through their behaviours that they don't like serving their customers. I received a call for my iPhone pre-order, but I had already gotten a phone, so I asked them how I could get a refund. They told me to go to the store and get my refund there. When I arrived at the store, I was shown to the customer service area. This girl couldn't get my refund so she sent me to the mobile team. The mobile team said they don't take care of refunds, so they sent me back to the customer service. When I returned to the customer service, the same girl starts to whisper things under her breath while I'm literally standing there hearing what she's whispering. Because she still couldn't process my refund, she called in another worker. The new worker seemed careless as well, especially when it was the time to finally tap my card for the refund. When I tapped for my refund, the transaction was declined. The guy gets even more annoyed, and tells me I'm using the wrong card, which mind you, was in fact the right card clearly stated on my invoice. He keeps trying me to tell again and it obviously isn't working. At the end, he simply told me to insert my card instead of tapping it. IF he had told me to do beforehand, I wouldn't have been tapping my card multiple times and getting it declined. It was as simple as that, yet two of their staff seemed so clueless, and I was standing there for 45 minutes, being passed on as a customer when my refund could've been done in less than 10 minutes. Their work is very inefficient, at least for the customer service staff. I've done transactions in the gaming/computer area before and they are fine, hence why I give this store 2 stars.

Jordan the phone section employee, lied to an Asian couple that didn’t speak English very well… they asked if it’s better for them to come back on Black Friday for a sales and he told them that on Black Friday they actually bring up the prices cuz there’s so much demand… I asked the employee that was serving me and she assured me there are in fact deals… he lied to them just to get the sale commission… after he got up for a minute I told the couple he was lying and that there would be sales so they should come back… bad salesman, should be illegal to lie for a commission.

Let me get this straight, the staff here are nice but the mistakes made are unacceptable. I had asked for the new iPad air (6th generation with the m2 chip) the employee ordered me the older model (5th generation) after I repeatably asked if it was the correct model. He also gave me the apple pencil. Once I realised this mistake I returned not even 10 mins later asking for a refund and was told I had to wait until the item arrived to receive the refund, which makes no sense, an unwanted charge was made on my card due to the mistakes of the store and I had to wait to receive a refund. The item arrival was estimated to two weeks. I had to wait before I got the product I desired. When it was time to go get my refund when the iPad arrived, I asked for a full refund as the apple pencil was not the one desired either (needed one with pressure sensitivity). When all was said and done, I was recompensed a 1 cent gift card, this is not a joke a 1 cent gift card. Do yourselves a favor and do not shop here, unbelievable!

I waited 15 minutes at the counter at the back of the store for assistance with the tablets. I was making eye contact with employees, but everyone "seemed busy" so I waited patiently. In the end, I had to go to them on my own to ask how to get assistance despite the fact that I was literally in the queue at the counter the whole time. I feel like I'm being ignored and no one has asked me in these 15 minutes if I need help or anything. Not a great customer approach, I was the one who had to bring an employee back to the counter. After good service was given, I wait 1 and a half weeks and still no news/update or notification regarding my pickup. I start to question myself and decide to go to the store anyway to at least know the waiting times and as if by chance the product had actually already arrived in the store? How come I wasn't warned? If I hadn't shown up and kept waiting, I would have waited a long time... It's really not possible, I'm going to recommend going elsewhere for your appliances, because that's what I'm looking for. I will do, I should have read the reviews before doing business there.

I bought a laptop here 1 year and 9 months ago. Today it just completely gave up on me with no warning signs, and when I went to Geek Squad and Customer Service for help, they told me there was absolutely nothing they could do for me because I didn't buy the warranty. I didn't know that you had to pay up to $200 extra to get a functional product? I was really hoping that he could have at least made it through my three years of uni, but apparently that's a lot to ask of planned obsolescence. Definitely the last best buy product I buy :(

I walk into Best Buy in Pointe-Claire at 2:46 PM. Walking around and maybe they are short staffed because I don't see anyone on the floor. Eventually see a couple of employees that direct me to where the Samsung tablets are. I look around then eventually find another employee and ask to buy a tablet. He tells me to go back to the section and wait. I waited over 10 minutes and left at 3:26. Ridiculous. I will be buying a tablet somewhere else. Good luck to the people that did show up for work. They deserve better but so do the customers.

We went to Bestbuy to get a better mobile phone plan, and the mobile group - Reine, Suraj, and Gurdhian were extremely helpful in getting us a good plan. They also helped with some minor troubleshoot of the billing that was caused by some technical errors.

ATTENTION !!! This store places products on shelves with price tags that turn out not to be the true prices of the products in question. As proof, I went to this store last Friday to buy a cordless phone. The price listed on the price tag installed just below the phone was nearly $78, only to learn once I got to the cash register to pay that the price on the bill was more than $120. The employee then told me that it is normal and usual for the employees of this store to place, for reasons of lack of space on the shelves, products opposite price tags which are not not the real prices of products placed very close to these same labels. When I told the employee that this was a dishonest and immoral practice, he had no reaction. It’s a shame that this rating system doesn’t allow you to give zero stars, because I would have done that.

So I've been coming to this Best Buy since it's opened in the beginning they had workers everywhere it was amazing they had everything they were all about the electronics entertainments I know that they've updated with the times they do household furniture and everything like that and that's great but the big issue is they have no workers anymore the last couple of times I've been in here the last few years they never have workers I always have to wait around for like half an hour to an hour sometimes to speak to someone get any type of help and like today I just wasted 30 minutes waiting to speak to someone about headphones because I need it for work and the only person working there is the guy that's doing cell phones he had a number of people waiting for him I gave up. they have no workers ever anymore I know we buy a lot of stuff online and everything now but some people like me that like seeing it in person trying it on in person and coming to the store where there's no customer service it really sucks. Best Buy at least this one used to be amazing but not anymore they need more workers I know people buy online yeah it could impede on their profit which I understand but they still need more workers.
