went there to have a lampshade for a antique lamp. Was quoted $250. I showed them that the plug had some fraying of the fabric on the cord near the wall connection that needed to be trimmed by a pair of scissors. She said they would look at it. I was quoted $250 for the lamp shade. When I can to pick it up they advised me that they rewired and changed the bulb connection. They claimed that the wiring and bulb connection I had did not work Well I know it worked before. I just went in to get a lampshade, I could easily have done the electrical work myself. Don't you think they should have called me before to get my approval? Instead of $250 it cost me $330. I only ordered a lampshade and not a overhaul of the lamp.
