All around bad experience. I went in to have a stone set in a custom made ring. The first thing I was told was, "I hope you didn't buy it online". Upon opening the wrapping on the stone, the jeweler immediately said it was fake because it is a light blue sapphire and sapphires are dark in colour. She seemed set of convincing me it was fake, despite buying it from a reputable jeweler and having a certification. Then I was told the cut was poor and they refused to set it. I went to a jeweler in Valleyfield and they were far more helpful. The ring turned out beautifully, but I'd avoid this jeweler elsewhere. They seemed eager to get me out of the door.
