The salespeople are generally welcoming and kind, the store is big but not big enough, especially at the end of the day, we step on each other a bit. It’s a shame that some of the products on display are only available online. Otherwise, great place.

Worst service ever! I found several SK-II facial treatment cleansers on a shelf with the price tag of 42 dollars on the front. I took one to the counter and they scanned and said the real price is 100+ dollars. Then one of the employees said since they put a price tag of 42 dollars, they can sell it to me at 42, as that was their mistake. Then they talk to themselves for a minute and changed idea, they said the price tag of 42 dollars only contain the dollar figure, but it does say what product it is, despite the fact that the price tag is at the front of a whole bunch of the same product. So the price stays at 100+. It is ridiculous how they easily find an excuse for their mistake and how careless and arrogant they are about the service.

Who doesn’t like Sephora? But this specific store has some of the rudest, most unprofessional staff with such unpleasant attitude. My latest encounter was with that lady with a head-cover. I simply asked a question about their birthday gifts and she replied mockingly that they are sold out while rolling eyes at me and sighing as if I was wasting her time.

Really terrible, impersonal, McDonaldized type of service. A few weeks ago I saw they had the ordinary retinal 0.2 on stock at the store through the website. I went to the store, and the product wasn’t on any counter. I asked a black lady with red tinted hair and she was so rude she told me no that product doesn’t exist. I had to cue to the cashier to get it. I went a few days ago to pick up a serum I bought online and there was nobody in the pickup section for 10 minutes. There is also an East Asian dude whom I tried to ask questions but he just says hi and leave as if he was busy, at least tell me you are busy. In general I see must of the staff being very bitchy and look like they hate their jobs. The only friendly staff was a blonde big woman. I swear I’m not racist, I’m Arab myself. If I knew the names I would have put that instead but the staff is so distant you don’t have time to see their badge. Also really weird not all products that say they are in stock are in the counter and most are in the back of the store. If the staff was friendly it wouldn’t be an issue but because it is not the case it makes the experience a disaster. But hey that’s just a normal day in hyper-individualist and hyper-capitalist McDonaldized Canada.

Booked a full face make up service as a treat while on vacation. I had Naomi- who was literally the sweetest. I just wanted a treat plus try some new products and colours for a refresh on my usual routine. I prefer a “no make up” make up look - more subtle and natural. I got so many tips and suggestions to work into my routine with my current products and also have a list of new items to add the next time I stock up. Happy I got to try and learn about the Charlotte Tilbury products annnd also ask my Qs about newer brands. Naomi was super knowledgeable and a true artist. I felt she listened to what I was looking for and made some great choices and suggestions. I also appreciate that they have dedicated products for services that just aren’t the floor samples. Everything was super clean and hygienic which is important. Just a great experience and treat to refresh my makeup game. Thanks again Naomi!
