Good little store for organic products. Employees are nice too. But the area that it is located in is kinda dangerous depending on the time of day. Druggies all over the streets. Be careful if it's your 1st time around that area.

Every time I go in with grocery bags filled from other stores, an employee always tells me to put it at the cash register, as soon as I walk in. My white friend came in numerous times with full bags and he asked employees if he needed to put them at the cash register and they said no every time. (I have dark skin so I guess discrimination lives here). I don't feel welcome at all.

Rendu à la caisse, le caissier appel la gérante qui ce place devant moi a une dizaine de pieds elle me devisagai, je me sentais pas le bien venu, peut être elle ma confondue avec une autre personne aussi une de mes connaissance à remarquer quand une personne entre avec sac a dos, il se font des signes de surveillance, je ne sais si je vais y retourner.

Le service est plutôt bon, même si des fois les commis ne sont pas à leur poste au moment où on en a besoin; mais avec la pénurie de main d’œuvre, ça rend la gestion compliquée j’imagine.Sinon côté produit je trouve la variété et les gammes de produits assez bien diversifiés.. un peu trop même. Plus de produits locaux serait plus en accord avec les valeurs de ce genre de magasin.

With 10 grocery stores and over 80 Espace santé sections in IGA supermarkets throughout Quebec, the organic store chain called Rachelle Béry is well known for its quality goods at competitive prices. They were known as the first natural products grocery store in Quebec over 35 years ago at the corner of Rachel and Berri Streets. Customers here love the organic, natural or local products free from chemical preservatives, additives, artificial flavors and colorings. I stopped in here to check out their produce and prepared foods...everything looked very fresh and very appealing.The prices area competitive in terms of organic stores is concerned, but definitely higher priced that a Provigo or IGA.

The young man who prepares sandwiches always handles the sandwiches without gloves. He touches the cabinets and other objects while waiting for the sandwiches to be heated. When asked why he doesn’t wear gloves he says the policy to wear gloves is only when there’s a cut on his hand.Unless the policy from Health Canada changed, everyone who handles food must wear gloves.

This place is all about the weekly specials. You can also have them make you a sandwich and eat it there while people watching in a well lit eating area.I actually got some plants ??Really friendly and patient staff.I appreciate the full sink at the entrance and free artsy Mtl postcards.
