The store is normal, there is a variety of things, from household chemicals to food and groceries. The prices are not entirely affordable, but there are not enough stores like this in the area. Lately there has been more security at the store. Feels like customers are not trusted. I only go there when necessary.

Not really what I consider a grocery store. It's more of a big fancy convenience store...
Rents are expensive downtown... It shows when you visit this Provigo...
The room wouldn't be big enough for a Goat Yoga session...
I've seen a lot of convenience stores bigger than that... It helps, let's say...
Anyways, did you really intend to do the shopping before going to see a Canadiens game?

The supermarket (Provigo Avenue des Canadiens) is a big scam! I worked there and I also did my shopping there so I’m sharing my experience with you! To begin with, the employees are mistreated (the working conditions are inhumane) especially for foreign students or immigrants because yes there is a lot of racism and judgment on the part of the managers (the employees do not know their employees well). rights so the owner and managers take advantage of that! The working atmosphere is really unhealthy and toxic, everyone talks behind everyone's backs, there is no support between them, the pay that the staff receives each time! weeks are wrong, including mine! My colleagues never dared to ask why... and when we dared to complain about it there was always an excuse and we were told that we would receive the rest the following week... but in vain! the products are mostly expired be careful sometimes it can be fatal, check the dates and labels carefully before buying or even better never go there, there are so many better supermarkets with fresh and quality products ! I received a lot of complaints when I worked at the customer service counter “that customers were getting sick or ending up with half of their items past the due date…! The owner only thinks about making a profit by all means...there is never anything in stock or on the shelves! The store is extremely poorly managed and maintained, I have already seen rats in the backstore! It's sad to waste such a beautiful place and locations because of an incompetent team, an owner overwhelmed by events and in depression and staff who were never trained! Everything is learned on the job, security is useless! I have already been threatened with death by customers or by homeless people and they did not even let me call the police so as not to scare customers as if my life as a cashier was worth nothing at all.

A pleasant shop, right in the center, where you can get a few daily groceries. The first time we had to look for the entrance, but after we realized that we simply had to go up the escalator through the glass door twice, it was no longer a problem.

The supermarket is okay. Things are sometimes arranged in a somewhat haphazard manner on the shelves. You can find steak sauces in about 3 to 4 different places in the store instead of all on one shelf. Some of the fruits don't look so good.

What a trash overpriced supermarket, I live in the building that has the supermarket so for convenience I ended going there most of the time. I dream for the day I stop giving such place money. Half of the staff are okay, the other half basically are not human. I completely understand that it is difficult to work long hours, so I’m not expecting top 5 star treatment, but they literally ignore me half the time, and when they do speak it’s extremely rude. They have very stupid things like when the butcher is out for lunch, no one can get meat anymore, although the meat is ready and being displayed. Overall predatory pricing with 0 service to back it up.
Update, it’s 6pm peak time, and there is “no manager for any issues” why is a maneger ever taking their break during peak hours with no one to solve basic issues, no one knows. I understand everyone requires a break, however there should be someone else who understands basic troubleshooting to help with the small issues, like an item not scanning for example. Sold me chicken with no expiration date. When I asked to switch it the day after, they refused to change it since “I should’ve checked before buying”. It came with attitude too, like in the one who made a mistake here.
