Been going here for years, and the service is great.
However, I was appalled by the price jump.
There was a 50% increase in their price from my last change this spring. From $80 to $120+tax; no warning when booking my appointment.

If you like to be treated badly and with zero respect, Gordon’s garage is the right place. I called and was given an appointment at 1:00. When I arrived they said the appointment was not registered and I should come back later even though the waiting room was completely empty. When I complained with an annoyed, but not loud, voice I was yelled at and told to leave.

I’ve visited this shop twice for minor work on my car, and both times have been fantastic! I initially went in to get my tires replaced. Although the replacement tires were quite old, the staff didn’t use any pushy sales tactics to scare me into buying new ones. Instead, they gave me a straightforward suggestion that the tires were old but could last another season.
I also asked them to remove my roof rails, which other shops might have dismissed as minor work with low service cost. However, the team here accepted my request without hesitation and completed it in no time.
They are incredibly professional and truly know how to retain customers with their excellent service. Highly recommend!

Quick and friendly. Recently been dealing with Tony (part of their auto mechanics team). Fantastic service. He goes out to visually inspect the vehicle and shows you the issues that have to be dealt with immediately or put off for later. Always appreciate his knowledge and advice. As a further note to my review, I recently brought my wife's 2000 Mercedes Benz 220 to Gordons for a substantial electrical failure. I was fortunate to have Tony again as my mechanical advisor for this repair. Once again he was very helpful in working within my budget for a car of this age. He treats his clients with respect and always makes the time for them despite his busy schedule. Very pleased with the service he provided me and wouldn't hesitate to go to him again for any future repairs.

I've been a loyal customer of Gordon's Goodyear in Montreal for many years, and every visit reaffirms why I keep coming back. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and goes out of their way to ensure your experience is a positive one.
The quality of service here is superior to any other place I've been, and the prices are always reasonable and fair. Recently, my wife had an emergency tire issue, and Gordon's Goodyear accommodated her quickly, handling the situation with complete professionalism. It was her first time there, and when I asked how it went, the first thing she said was, "The people who work there are amazing."

Called them at 10 am on Saturday morning about urgent need of alignment for my truck and fixing rear diff which was out of place, mechanic told me to come in asap so they could have time to finish before they close at 1pm…
Upon arrival, everything went smoothly and mechanic was already waiting for me… Denis (the mechanic) was awesome, great mechanic and super helpful.

Got a rear brake job two months ago. Something wasn’t right. Took the car to a trusted mechanic. Calipers seized. Rotors should have been replaced. Even the new pads seemed to have more wear than you’d expect. I’m sure there are lots of excuses and bafflegab explanations. But I won’t be hearing them because I am no longer a customer! Too bad. Used to be honest dealers.

I changed tires, 1 week later, I had 3 flats at the same time and one tire subsequently broke. I was not reimbursed for this tire which was only used for 1 summer.

My exhaust system required urgent repair. Gordons is my regular trusted garage. I needed an evaluation of the cost ( even though Gordon's does not specialize in exhaust systems). I was told the catalytic converter needs replacement at a cost of $2,500. My car is a 2007 model, not worth to repair. I was given an option of a temporary welded pipe repair which would last for about a year. Perfect solution as I need some time before purchasing another car . Greatly appreciated !! The value between an honest person and a thief is priceless.
