These pharmacists love to argue with you and attempt to withhold your medicine, regardless of prescriptions from Medical Doctors. They also have no regard for personal privacy.
They never prepare prescriptions ahead of time, you always have to wait when you show up.

Really unfriendly and condescending pharmacy staff.
No politeness, you are just a telephone number (they don't even ask you your name, just your telephone number in front of everyone... confidentiality-wise it's not great). None but really no follow-up on prescriptions (they don't even warn you that the prescription is going to expire....)
No solution offered for a treatment that I have to take daily.... I live 200m away and I regret having chosen this pharmacy. I prefer to go to downtown Montreal where certain pharmacies help you out with medications because they know that the insurance will pay of course!!!! I point out that non-compliance with treatment can have an impact on my health but I really doubt that an employee has taken the trouble to look at the importance of the medication I am taking....

Ps: do not wait for a response from the Jean Coutu Group unlike the response automatically sent. It's wrong!!! It's the pharmacist himself who reminds you lol Thank you Jean Coutu for the lack of follow-up on this pharmacy with the same problems which come up in the comments ??

I have been consulting this pharmacist for many years for my family. He is very competent. The team around him are very helpful too and I thank them all for their dedication.

The owner of the pharmacy (Mr. Hoang) is wonderful. One of his staff is another story. The woman pharmacist with the salt/pepper hair is a nightmare. Total narcissist. See for yourself. I switched back to JC on CSL rd.

The pharmacy department is unreliable. I bought (and paid for) a cream prescribed from my dermatologist, and they promised to call me for pickup later in the day, but that call never came. The delay in getting my medication was not just inconvenient; it made my skin condition more uncomfortable, leaving me constantly itchy. This oversight stopped me from starting the treatment right away, and if I had known, I could have looked for the medication somewhere else.

On the small side but has a good variety of the items I usually buy and sometimes for less than I could find elsewhere. People should really learn to smile at this place as it’s pretty gloomy at the cashier’s every time I go into this place I feel like I might be disturbing some of them chatting amongst themselves like it’s high school break time.

I have been dealing with them for numerous years, always received excellent service. Very helpful staff from store clerks to cashiers and the Pharmacy workers ?100% satisfied, wouldn't change them for any other Pharmacy.Thank you Jean Coutu staff on Somerled. ❣

Quite disappointed to be constantly served in English by the pharmacist. It's quite difficult to communicate my specific needs in this language, that's my only downside. Otherwise I appreciate the access to this large 'small' neighborhood pharmacy which helps me a lot. Waiting time is decent

If I could give a 0, that's what I would do. I have been taking medication for several years, I was careless and forgot to refill my prescription in time for my last tablet. The pharmacist refused to help me before receiving the signed renewal from my doctor. I've never heard that a pharmacist could be so stupid. I've been lying in bed for two days because I can't function because of him. We are not asking for refills without, but to help out someone who has forgotten to refill their medication. We're talking about a few days, not months. I will never give money to this pharmacist again.
