I have been to other JCs and those have been fine but this one... SUCKS

Very poor customer service. Manager and employee who are unpleasant and not attentive. It's not normal that taking a photo for my passport causes my receipt to go back and forth when I've already paid the bill. The manager didn't even speak to us, abruptly wrote "non-refundable" on the back and left with the receipt without saying a word. Disrespectful! Take an example from the person who took the photo, smiling, listening, explained the situation to us and helped us in the process. Really disappointed with this experience

DO NOT use the ID photo service here. Took my ID photos here twice, both were returned. The technicians don’t care about the quality. If the screening app reads ‘valid’, they print despite the color quality or lightning is completely off. It’s a waste of time and money.

Really getting worse... adding self-service checkouts that need assistance from non-existent staff.
Always errors in their prices and the managers are not too cooperative.

Complaint for your store.I came and bought perfumes around 6 p.m. on Thursday February 15, 2024. I took the number of perfumes that I chose, once at the checkout the cashier told me that she does not take a credit card if I can pay cash as if I have one offender. While I was throwing with friends that I wanted to give these perfumes as gifts when they were going on vacation. I feel a lack of respect towards your cashier with a tone that does not reflect your brand like jean coutu that I took the initiative of never returning to your store.

Worst service. No response for prescriptions. We take the trouble to order online and it still takes 20 minutes to receive our prescription because no one comes to see us.

DO NOT GO if you do not want to feel harassed or framed for theft by the security guard.
Now that I see the comments I realize it wasn't just me and it's not the first time it's happened at this store. From the moment I walked in I felt like the security guy was chasing me everywhere I went. I spent some time in the make-up aisle thinking about which concealer to buy and what shade I should buy, the man kept looking at me insistently. I felt so uncomfortable that I had to call my cousin. I decided to leave what I had in my hand, showing him that I wasn't going to take anything, and all I received was laughter. When I complained to the manager she justified it with the worst attitude because "It's high season and it's his job". Nothing justifies being harassed, judged and persecuted, I have never experienced this even in more expensive stores.

This is the only pharmacy I go to when I need a refill of my HRT prescription. Compared to the other Jean Coutu's I've visited, the staff are consistently polite, non-judgemental, and even offered to stock extra vials of my medication after there was a shortage (other pharmacies I visited were more dismissive). Worth the trip downtown.

The pharmacist does not know her own system for billing medications to insurers. No listening, no help and a lack of the most basic courtesy. I gave one star because you can't choose 0.

Opens too late. The staff is nice though.
