If you want to pay exorbitant prices and to not support the local food producers you should shop here. Metro is getting ridiculous.

I have stopped shopping at this store. Unreliable delivery service. Poor and hostile customer service in regards to late delivery follow up.

Check your invoices, they often make mistakes on prices. Don't expect a refund if you catch them in the act! I don't blame the employees, but the management.

Recently the quality of the fish (Pack) has become difficult, dated like the 15th expires on the 17th, i.e. two days or even three, it already stinks when you open the pack, moreover the choice is made very limited to pass it; At an average of $40 per kilo it's tough!!!

It seems to me that there is a problem with their fruit storage. I recently bought a watermelon and then it had a weird texture, almost like jelly. Look at the second photo: I could turn it every which way when it should have broken and been crunchy. We tasted it, but threw it away because it tasted strange. Today I went back to take more pictures of the watermelons because I remembered several of them looking bad, and today I saw that almost all of them were rotten. It seems like the store staff doesn't even take them off the shelves. I'm writing this review because I had the same experience with peaches and nectarines in this same Metro, and I stopped buying them. I hope someone from the store sees this notice and fixes the fruit storage problem.

The employee of Arab origin at the express checkout, on Thursday, September 5 at 7 p.m., seemed completely disturbed, even insulted, by the fact that I placed my little red basket containing my three items on the counter, while I took the time to search. my wallet and my bag in my bag. She observed me throughout the entire process, then asked me, with a face full of condescension, to take my own items from the cart and place them on the counter.
However, I was smiling, respectful, and I even asked her how she was. However, she reacted as if I had thrown my basket at her with the intention of her rushing into it, which was absolutely not the case. I was surprised by this reaction, because I had never seen someone take offense at not doing their job, thus victimizing themselves by having to take an apple, a packet of spinach and a bottle of water.
Frankly, it's incredible to see this kind of behavior from employees who are paid to make customer service pleasant, and not the other way around.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have encountered this type of service at your branch. I think that training in non-violent communication (NVC) would be greatly beneficial for Metro Mont-Royal employees.
With the ton of profit generated by doubling prices in an exaggerated manner since the pandemic, I am certain that Metro could very well contribute to the education and mental health of its employees for the benefit of them as much as for its customers ?
