I go to Newon mainly for fruits/veggies and certain meats that you simply don’t find in western stores. Fair quality/price. Like all grocery stores it’s on you to verify the quality before checking out.

Bought two bags of Tilda Pure Basmati rice. Both bags smell moldy, both!!! Expiry shows 2027. Buy food from somewhere else, check the other reviews, a lot of people seem to be getting moldy products from there. I know it's cheaper but what's the point if it will make you sick, that will cost you way more.

One of the cashiers was very racist after I finished the checkout process, he covertly showed his racism with a covert indirect comment with very hateful stares. I have never seen a supermarket employee who practices racism instead of welcoming customers and appreciating their choice and support for their store like I found with them. Also, some of their cashiers are like machines, they do not greet or even good make eye contact with customers. I recommend anyone of a different race to avoid them, they do not deserve support by buying from them.

Great Asian grocery store where they have all the Asian food, snacks, spices, beverages, frozen items and many more.
Chinese, Korean, Thai, Indian and many more Asian groceries.
Do note that some of their snacks are months expired but still on the rack for sale. Of course, it's totally fine if you don't mind it.

One of the worst Shop, they are highly priced as compared to other shop in downtown, adding on to it the billing counter staff(eg : counter guy name: Prathmesh )is rude and charging an extra dollar for no reason.

A very good Chinese supermarket. The clerks are very friendly and enthusiastic to help customers solve various problems. It is a place I must go to every week.

I used to love this place but I have to go to the bathroom when I visit and they have closed the bathrooms for the last few weeks. Let me know when you have "fixed" them, and I'll be again a customer... look I know this is probably because of homeless people but you just need to give keys to customers to fix that problem.

You can buy lotus roots, daikon radish, shimeji mushrooms, boiled bamboo shoots, thinly sliced pork, gizzard, green onions, and frozen dumplings made with mandou.
I would be happy if there were Japanese green peppers too! This pepper is the size of a giant paprika.
