You should’ve changed your opening hours on the door, I would’ve been waiting here for an hour if I didn’t check Google maps. And while I was waiting(thought it opens at 10am), a few customers showed up and got disappointed as well.

I went there today around 1 pm the cashier has terrible customer service, doesnt greet the customer, doesnt smile. She is busy playing games on her laptop. I went there many times and its always bad customer service from that person. Today i felt the need to post about it. Im giving 2 stars because the products are good but the customer service just ruins the experience

Expensive prices. Specifically had a bad experience with books. They have a decent sized section of pre-owned books. I found one book which was originally 30$. It was completely marked up on every page, yet they were still attempting to charge 20$ for it. Ridiculous! That book was arguably worth nothing, yet I was willing to pay for it to avoid using an online copy. The price they want to charge is outrageous and a complete scam!

Came here expecting good quality groceries but instead got basically 7-11. Must've set my expectations too high, I guess.

Very expensive groceries! $19 for a box of mediocre frozen sliced beef. We had to come here only because no other Chinese supermarkets in the area were open at 9pm. Service was okay though.

Now all the Chinese students living on the immediate East side of the campus have their own little grocery store! No more 20 min walk to Chinatown in the middle of January! Just a quick stop right after Provigo or Jean Coutu! So practical! And the owner(s) of Coin d'Asie know if full well. They stocked up on well-selected items, mostly very popular ones. There's mostly instant foods, like snacks, instant noodles, condiments and drinks. The prices are a bit higher than at Chinatown or Marché Newton, because they know they have an upper hand when it comes to convenience. However the fresh produce section is frankly quite distressed most of the time. A nice addition to the groceries in the neighbourhood!
