Very good grocery store and above all very good butcher. I made couscous with the meat recommended by the butcher, we enjoyed it ?. The caterer is also excellent, especially their enpeniadas.

Nice little neighborhood grocery store, they have everything and a good variety of prepared meals. The staff is courteous and welcoming. Quite easy to access, beautiful little butcher's shop, charcuterie and cheese counter offering online purchasing options and Christmas menus and others. Lots of local products highlighted.

I’ve been a client since 2016-17, I loved everything about this place. I would buy their dry aged meat every week and most of the time in bulk for friends and family. But for my last couple visits I noticed a decline in quality in both the products and the customer service, I am honestly more sad than disappointed because this place will go from often frequented to a nostalgic place that I loved.

Overall positive due to some great selection of delicious prepared meals, but the prices are offensive on some items, so you really need to watch it! For example, ordinary non-organic non-local strawberries , $12.19! That is just a rip-off! The exact same product is available elsewhere, and costs $6.99, not on sale, at the upscale Les Cinq Saisons in Outremont.

One of the few good grocers in Montreal. It's a friendly place with staff that are willing to help. Which is a rarity in these days. I would encourage anyone to visit this place.

Avoid this place ! They are dishonest. When I placed my order of truffle with them, they indicated the price of 2$/ 1gr. They called me 6 days later to go pick up my order. In the store I was surprised to see the price raise up to 3$/ 1gr so basically the price went up 1.5 times and nobody has informed me neither in the phone nor in the store. When I spoke to a guy there, he apologized and said because they just received it 3 hours ago they “didn’t find time to tell me about it”. Well you had 2 opportunities to notify me 1- by phone 2- in the store but you didn’t. Then the guy suggested to offer it for 2.5$/1gr or take it back. They knew that I will take it because when I placed my order I indicated that it will be for my Christmas dinner and today is 22nd and truffles need to be ordered 1 week before. Plus, they indicated 31.07 gr weight for the first price (as you can see in the photos). To change the price, for a reason I ignore the guy said he needs to weigh it again. By magic the same truffle went down to 30.5 gr !!! 1- you need to be honest with your customers. 2- don’t underestimate customers’ intelligence because everybody knows that the provider with whatever merchandise indicates his price before selling and not 3 hours after delivery. So telling me that you were not aware of the price raise was a vain attempt to fool your customer. For people that want to order truffle from Umbria, go order with Cucina foods, honest people, fixed weights and prices.

I think they have an identity issue. We got some empanadas, even though the fillings are not the traditional kinds (tuna and veggies/mushrooms), we thought it might just be a fusion twist. The taste is so bad it’s an insult to the name! No Latino will call it empanadas! We also tried calzones, not Italian not Latino, it tasted like ham wrapped in fried donut dough, just bad. We went in because of the name and didn’t find any Latino products we normally find in other Latino grocery stores. Should change store name and stop fooling people outside of the neighborhood.
