I purchased a leather jacket directly from the company. It did not fit and I requested an exchange. The company gave me the information to send the jacket back for the exchange. I did this and received a $70 bill from Federal Express for tax and duties. I emailed the company. The company emailed me back several days later, stating that I need to pay this. But I explain to them that this was their issue. They then told me that they accidentally billed me instead of a customer with the same name as me. Ultimately they are now ignoring my emails. There is no way to reach them by telephone. I spoke to the corporate wholesale office by telephone and the woman told me that there were many many customer service problems and she was sorry, but could not help. I ultimately had to pay the Federal Express bill because I was going to go into collections.I will never buy another article of clothing from this company.

I just don't understand what kind of people Lamarque had in mind when they made these clothes.Not only in terms of sizing, which b cups and above beware, as well as alien shoulder torso ratios,but all the feathers, faux leather and plasticky material is absurd considering this is a Montreal brand, which I would think was made for Montrealers and the ever changing weather we have. P

Lamarque has beautiful and well fitting designs that last for a long time and will not break your bank! Their customer service is fantastic! I was in a rush to get a bolero for a wedding and it arrived on time, no delays! I’ve been ordering beautiful pieces from them for years and will continue to do so.

Worst customer service! I ordered a jacket on July 5th. According to Fedex, they attempted to deliver to me 3 times without me being home (which is not true). Long story short, I finally went to collect my jacket on July 26. The jacket did not fit me and they refused to reimburse me on the pretext that it exceeded the reimbursement deadlines (I made the request on July 26 obviously when I took possession of the jacket). By law, they are obliged to reimburse me as mentioned on their site. After a long chain of emails with their customer service, 0 understanding who acts like a teenager, I went to make a sizeable exchange. The woman who greeted me literally kicked me out without even trying to understand my situation or apologize. She even has the nerve to tell me that the law doesn't work like that. I am shocked that a Quebec company behaves like this. The other comments on Google are correct. Worst customer service!!!Service: Women's fashion design

Product quality is superior! I have purchased a range of pieces from Lamarque over the years: wool coat, feather vest, moto jackets, leather blazer, pants, puffers and a maxi trench — leather is soft, style is detailed and high quality. The (online) customer service is excellent - prompt, clear communication. Love this brand and will continue to purchase from here!

BUYER BEWARE! This is genuinely the worst retail experience I have ever seen experienced in my life.My sister ordered two feather jackets from the website. The sizes were off and didn't fit her. She doesn't speak English and her son was corresponding on her behalf. She wanted to return items for a refund. However, the company has an extremely short return window of 14 days (RED FLAG #1). She asked for a store credit. After receiving store credit and clearly unable to purchase anything because LAMARQUE sizes do not work her, she offered it to me to redeem. The store credit could not be redeemed online and had to be done through customer service ONLY (RED FLAG #2). When we contacted the company with items we wanted to order, they refused to process the order stating that the shipping address has to match the credit card billing address. When I informed them that both addresses are registered with credit card, customer service suddenly said the credit was non-transferable although they have not initially informed my sister of this fact (RED FLAG #3). We have asked for a customer service manager to get back and haven't heard yet. So far my sister has lost over $100 on return shipping fees. The company now is forcing her to forfeit the rest by limiting her how she chooses to redeem the store credit and what payment method can be used.Save your money and DO NOT shop with this company. They will give you a very hard time with returns and make it impossible for you to redeem store credit.

Buyer beware! I used to love Lamarque but they have been dishonest recently. Their website touts free shipping over $250.I ordered enough for my order to come to $257, but I was still charged for shipping. When I reached out about the shipping charge, they refunded me for the cheapest item in my order saying it was sold out. How convenient when the system allowed me to buy it. I called them out on this and asked them to cancel my entire order. They actually canceled my entire order, but when I checked their website again, the cheapest item that they said was sold out is back online and available for purchase. Clearly they just didn’t want to cover my shipping!

Incredible pieces. The brands attention to detail is so great and they excel at classic forever styles that still manage to be trend forward. Their online is the best! If you should be so lucky to attend a sample sale at this beautiful showroom you will find some unique pieces for sure.

Never Assume. Never assume that your client is a one stop deal. Good customer experience (according to statistics) will bring you 72% chance of the same customer returning or advertising. Bad customer service will discourage your customer in buying and telling others by 96%. I loved Lamarque's clothing, but due to two bad shipping issues ( one missing article and one ripped box w/ missing item..both item sent to me separately) Lamarque's customer service flagged my account "fraudulent" and basically kicked me out. I called and sent numerous emails practically wanting them to resolve so i can purchase despite my experiences and with my last order, they held the order (for 15 days), even though I paid for it and when I decided to ask them about it, I miraculously got the money back. Never again! And when someone ask me where I got it from, I'll be more than thankful to share my testimonies.
