I got slapped with the pink tax when getting my oil changed here on Thursday. I have come here before with no issues, but when the BMW dealership quoted me $280 for oil change and brake fluid change, i decided to opt for Garage decarie, to save some money. My error was not asking the price before getting the service done (just oil change). I was billed $210 for JUST an oil change. Had I done it at BMW I would have had free coffee and drinks in a clean bright environment, with wifi and my car would have been washed as well. I will not be returning.

I highly recommend Garage Decarie since the owner, Jack, genuinely cares about you and the proper maintenance and function of your car.I went for an oil change and he went above and beyond with the service. He helped me change the lights on my car as well.Super nice guy, would 100% go back.

They are organized and very efficient. Oil change and tires.The mechanics take their time to do things properly like buffing the edge of the wheels etc.100% recommend.

They unexpectedly took my car in between clients to fix my flat tire when there was a wait time of 4 hours. Thanks to Jack the Manager. Mechanics were respectful and sociable.

I’ve been going to Garage Décarie for 3 years now and, I never felt like I should be spending more, that said, whether I had a small touch up or a bigger job, same care, same service and same efficiency every time.. As a woman I’m always a little skeptical about the services, honesty and prices at any but at Garage Décarie, especially where Jacques is concerned. I've been going there for about 1.5 years now and I've always had the best experience with Jack and his team. I am a student and I'm not from Montreal at all, so I was a bit hesitant and nervous about going to a mechanic in the city (we all hear the stories!), but I've always felt like the work and the price they asked for were very honest. If something needs to be changed because of satefy issues, Jack tells me and offers me different options depending on the price. I never feel pressured to change anything that can wait. I think Jack's service is great, it *almost* makes me look forward to my next appointment! I plan to keep going there.** Last weekend I had a problem with my car (making weird sounds when braking on highway, got me very worried), so I got my car towed to this garage knowing it would not open before monday morning. I went to give them my keys this morning and explained to them what the problem was and I had a diagnostic around 1pm. I don't suggest making a habit of showing up without an appointment but I was really happy with the service I received nevertheless. Turns out it was not a big deal at all and I got my car back at the end of the day, but I appreciate the fact that they took consideration of my concern. I paid them to install new summer tires in my set of summer wheels. A year later, 3 of the 4 wheels are leaking air badly. It is not a problem in the tires or the Alloy Wheels. It was a inefficient installation. Avoid this guys, go to an accountable garage for tires.Service: Tires

My windshield sprinklers were not working as the nozzles broke due to winter! I thought it was delicate work so I took my car to this garage! The man on the counter gave me an appointment for two days later without seeing the problem! I came back two days later, he sees the issue and tells me that he will have to order the nozzles from the dealership and it is 46$-77$ EACH (Excluding taxes)! I was unaware how much it will cost so I asked him to order it! He said he will call once the part arrives later that day! It has been a week, I have not received any call from them! Meanwhile, out of curiosity, I checked for the part on amazon and found THE PAIR of these nozzles for 15$ (delivered in 2 days even during holidays) and that I could replace them myself in 5 minutes! I just made the repair and saved myself atleast 120$! In a way I should thank them for not calling me back! Avoid this garage by all means, total waste of time and a complete rip off!!
