My family has been a Futon d’or customer for over 10 years. We appreciate that their products are locally made to a high standard and are durable. Recently, we had an issue with a new futon mattress, which was due to an error on our part. The owner was extremely accommodating and resolved the issue to our satisfaction. We would not hesitate to purchase additional items from them in the future.

Double tatami, shikubuton futon and two buckwheat pillows. I had my eye on Futon D'or for a long time and honestly it was worth the wait. I am super impressed with their robustness and quality (I'm writing this review after 3x months of usage) and my body thanks me every morning for a good night's sleep. I have a bad back and this helps enormously. I get out of bed like a man of the age I am and not like my elderly Dad. The buckwheat pillows I was not fully prepared for (last minute purchase) but they are epic. I will rarely sleep on a mattress again this just works so much better for me. Top service, top quality and top sleep. Merci milles fois et on se revoit encore, plusieurs fois.

We recommend that you do not purchase here.
The mattress is about as hard as the white mattresses used in school PE classes, and so far I've been waking up with back pain every day. Normal is too hard.
I heard that there are some Japanese customers, but I can't find any reviews anywhere, so they might just be trying it out once. I'm one of them, and I didn't feel like leaving a review. (We do not accept returns because it does not fit)
Up until this point, I thought it was something like this, but for some reason, about half a month later, another one arrived, so I called and told them that it had been delivered by mistake.
Then, the reply was, "Then please send an email here. Attach a photo of the delivery slip." After sending it, I received an email saying, ``I'll send you a new slip, so please print it out, paste it, and call the delivery company to pick it up.''
I think it would have been different if I had just said sorry. But isn't it too brazen to let customers cover for our own mistakes without doing that? His attitude was that it was obvious that he should take care of the formalities. Are you under a curse that disappears if you apologize?
We probably work, so we don't do unpaid shipping work on our days off, right? Why do you want to use customers? I only do this out of good faith because I received a different product than what I ordered and I can't exchange it. I don't have a printer at home.
Later, when I received a phone call, I was told that the slip would arrive on Monday and I could bring it up to the first floor on Tuesday. ^_^If you don't receive the slip, please contact me. I was even more surprised by how much I relied on this.
I've never written a review before, but it was so bad. It was fine until I bought it. As far as I can see, even the reviews by English speakers seem to be answered in French, which is disappointing.

I ordered 2 cushion covers for my living room and they are even better than I thought. Of exceptional quality! I fell in love with a pattern that goes very well with my living room rug.

I recently purchased a futon: parkwood base, latex cushion and cover. Everything ended very well, although I received a completely smashed parkwood base, a bit as if at the factory, the box had been dropped from the lift. I contacted the team who quickly remedied the situation. A workshop employee personally came to exchange the severely damaged base. Plus, I was compensated for the inconvenience. The team on the floor is patient and very knowledgeable, I had plenty of time to choose the right product and get answers to my questions. The futon is comfortable, I am still waiting for the cover which I should receive soon due to the manufacturing time. The only thing to say is that there is a slight lack of flexibility in terms of delivery. The delivery team can only deliver the products on Fridays and Saturdays, which makes receiving the products a little complex. Otherwise, I recommend!

We got a shikibuton bed and tatami for our 6 year old. He loves it and he was looking forward to receive it! Price wise it’s comparable to other beds on the market so it’s worth the investment. Otherwise, Futon d’or was really helpful. We did an online order, but was able to talk to them on the phone to have advice on what to choose and they were really patient and nice. The process was easy, and it even arrived even before the estimated date ! The quality is great as well. All in all, we are very happy with our purchase !

Very happy to have found their mattresses. It was not easy to find a manufacturer who avoided synthetic products as much as possible. If you're looking for mattresses that don't emanate chemicals, I highly recommend.

It’s the ultimate in Futon . I have been a customer for 14 yrs . The Futon couch still brand new and we bought a new futon for it again . So the old one lasted 14 yrs. We could have still used it but wanted a more
Firm one. The salesman/owner is a real nice guy . Their futons are the Rolls Royce of futons with great selection of covers.

I have been buying all my bed mattresses from futon d'or for 20 years.
They are all still very comfortable. The bed bases are also of good quality.
I have just dealt with after-sales service for the first time, the representatives were friendly and efficient. The part to be replaced on my bed base was received quickly. That makes all the difference.
(6 years later after this comment, everything holds up, the quality is excellent)
