Manager sold me a vape because I was trying to quit smoking. Told me it was 85% less dangerous than cigarettes. Well the vape made me cough more and I had to go back to cigarettes. This all happened 2 weeks ago
I ran into him there this morning while purchasing my morning coffee. He asked me how the vape was going and i told him the truth. He then admitted he had a horrible experience with it as well and only smokes cigarettes now.
My friend saw him standing right outside the store this morning smoking a cigarette.
Wish this guy had just been honest with me from the beginning. He led me to waste over $27 and I got sick

I had an unfortunate experience at this corner store that left me deeply dissatisfied on September 13, 2024.
Last night, my friends and I, all of whom are adults, visited the store. When my friend attempted to purchase alcohol, the cashier refused to complete the sale because she did not have a Canadian government-issued ID. I inquired about the issue, and the cashier explained the policy.
To resolve the situation, I offered to make the purchase myself and present my valid ID, as the alcohol was intended for the rest of the group. However, the cashier refused to sell it to me, citing that she was aware it would ultimately be shared with my friend. This reasoning lacked any logic or fairness. It raised the question of whether, under these circumstances, anyone else in the store would be denied service simply due to my friend’s presence.
What aggravated the situation was the cashier’s unprofessional and unempathetic demeanour. The entire experience was frustrating, and I found the handling of the situation to be unreasonable and disrespectful.

I am tired of this store. I walk for 15 mins every Saturday early in the morning to buy bread there. And in the last 2 months. They don't have any bread. They say that there was a mistake with the order of the store. That is not being professional about how you manage a simple store. I buy the promotion of 6 pieces of bread for 10 dllrs. This Couche-Tard is located right across from the Charlevoix metro station. It's very clean and very neat. I was able to get beer, wine, snacks, sausage sandwiches (and other prepared foods). The beverage case is large and you can get a bunch of alcoholic or non-alcoholic choices. The lady working there was very nice and smiley....
