This shop repaired damages that happened to my car during an attempted theft. I'm from outta town and was visiting Montreal when it happened. A stressful situation to say the least but Charlie with Clifton Auto kept me updated on the car status constantly. He went above & beyond and I commend the excellent customer service I received from Clifton Auto. A+ professionals overall, highly recommended.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would.Clifton Auto truly saved the day for my family. And I can't say enough good things about them. My parents are quite elderly (my dad is 94), and there are some extremely sharp turns getting into his parking garage. That is ONE bad combination! Their car sustained lower door damage on both sides from poor maneuvering these corners and continuously losing battles with the garage's concrete pillars. I drove with them to the downtown Audi dealership where they recommended getting four new doors for over $10 thou. YIKES. My dad's car is old but barely has any miles on it, and it drives perfectly. Just the lower half of the doors are messed up (one side was way worse than the other. The driver's side just had minimal dents and scratches. Still noticeable, though). Spending 10,000 on an older car for aesthetic reasons only seemed unreasonable. And my dad rarely drives the car, too. So we all decided, this solution was not reasonable for this car, for the way my dad uses it. My folks then drove around NDG as my mom remembered passing an auto body shop in her travels. Upon returning home, my dad said the place was super "shady". Sounded like a backyard operation. No way would he stop there, not even for an estimation. I told him, hey, let me do some research on Yelp and ask around, and I'll find a reputable auto body shop where he can get one more estimate and then decide if it's worth it to fix the car there, or at the dealership, or not at all. I found Clifton Auto on Yelp and the reviews, though few in number, were all stellar. And it's not far from my folks' condo. And they have great operating hours. And they've been in business sine 1982. I had a good feeling about this place! So we went there and was greeted by Pahreeve (I know I am totally misspelling his name, and I apologize in advance!). And he was phenomenal. Been in the biz for ages. Looked at my dad's car and said he can't guarantee they can fix the doors to 100% perfection, but he can get them to 80%. (My dad and I really appreciated his honesty here. We don't like surprises). We were quoted a price of $3000 and a lead time of approx. 10 days. My dad and I thought this reasonable, and paperwork was signed. My dad brought in the car a few days later and, sure enough, it was ready for pick up 9 or 10 days afterwards. I just spoke to my folks yesterday and they are THRILLED BEYOND WORDS, saying the car doors look PREFECT. Clifton Auto fixed them to 100% perfection, and they said they'd never even know there had been damage on them. There are zero indentations and the paint job is flawless. It looks like new. Thank you, Clifton Auto, for working your miracles and saving the day. You made my elderly parents so happy.

The mechanics and service advisor at the front desk are extremely kind & respectful! Really convenient the fact many places around to kill time until your car is ready. Prices are proper and the fact I drive a bmw they don’t try to over charge you, speaking from experience from going to diffrent garages! I already recommended all my friends and family to come to this garage

The boys at Clifton give a great service and made me feel welcome. I thought the accident was the end of the world, and they reassured me, and my car was brand new at the end of the repairs!The prices were fair, but the result was impeccable! Brought my Jetta, which I had scratched and dented really badly on a cement pole in the parking lot, and they did amazing work. You wouldn’t even think it was banged up! They did a great paint job to match the paint and fixed all the dents to perfection. The job was also done in a timely fashion, and they even offered me a courtesy car in the meantime. The staff is friendly and professional, they treat you with respect and like family. They are fantastic and I highly recommend them.Services: Painting

A yellow pole jumped in back of my rental car while I was backing up in a parking garage in downtown Montreal and caused blaring paint transfers to the bumper. I stopped in and a technician came out to look at it and went to work on it right away and in a short time it was fixed like it never happened. He refused to accept any payment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart--you earned Yelp's highest rating for solving a major problem in short order.

Did not do a good paint job done on the car, At first I thought it was good but I started noticing the pearl white paint job they did started peeling off. Another body shop told me why that happened, it wasn't done properly.I still see scratches underneath the handle, I am confused why there are scratches under the handle of a newly painted door.

Worst prices in town... The work might be good! But the prices aren't accurate at all. I went two times there and always getting 3 times higher price than other shops around.They asked 475$ to paint a small bumper. The worst part is the guy who gave the quote never saw the bumper. He just judged randomly.I did the job in another shop for 180$ professionally done with primer and 4 coats or clear :)

Most professional work I've ever seen. Had to repaint my front fender, back bumper, and both driver side front and back doors. Color match was better than the dealer could ever come close to. I had the dealer paint the back bumper and I needed Clifton in order to redo it.

Excellent service... My Car was hit by the city snow plow which slashed and practically punctured the side of my back door and rear end of it... I was a bit skeptical about how good they would have done the job but Charlie showed me the facility and assured me that they would took great care of my car and when it was ready it was like brand new extremely satisfied with their service

Clifton Centre Auto were professional, honest, and offered great service. They fixed our Passat 2015 that had a bent and damaged rocker and repainted it so that the car looks brand new with no damage.
