First of all, I would like to start by saying that I love the clothes they sell, however the customer service is very rude. A few months ago, a friend of mine and I went to the store to buy some items. Everything was going well until I wanted to show my purchases to my friend and two employees stared at us as if we were stealing. Noticing their looks, we immediately explained and explained that we had already purchased and that we had the invoice to prove it. Without even apologizing for their disrespectful behavior, one of them replied “ok” in a dry and aggressive tone as if we were disturbing them. My friend went back this week, putting it in the past, and had another experience like this with the same employee, so it's not a bad experience, but rather a recurring experience of bad service. I find this very unfortunate since it is the only Melville brandy store in Quebec and this interaction makes me want to go back there more.

Some of the girls have horrible attitudes and are disrespectful to anyone over 30
A course in customer experience and manners are desperately needed for some

New workers are super rude. They don’t even look at you when you talk to them. Do better.

Very rude employees! Was looking at clothes on a table and an employee shoved me aside with a big abnoxious “excuse” to just stand and fix the table? Could have waited till I finished looking, no decency whatsoever! Customer service is absolutely horrible!
As well, Their clothing is fine but some materials are questionable for the price.

Fun store for teens but one size? Not nice for kids who don't fit the standard.
Jam packed store. Huge line up for trying on and for cashiers. Friendly staff. Clean changerooms.

I was visiting from Toronto and was delighted to see that there was no lineup on Monday afternoon, but that excitement immediately went away when I saw the huge crowd indoors. It was nearly impossible to look or touch anything without someone bumping into me. A group of 3 girls were being trained and blocked off an entire aisle/display for the full 20-30 mins that I was there, on top of the huge lines and crowding. The employees were also bumping into me and disregarding my personal space as they were folding clothes, not even saying "excuse me" or waiting for me to move. The clothing selection was alright but missing a lot of things (like pants) compared to Toronto. Definitely do not recommend coming here unless you want to get shoved and line up for an hour to check out!

I love this store. I don’t come here very often since I do not love in montreal. They should have more stores across Canada.

Too full and one size so only for very thin girls xs-s maybe up to medium... incredible that in 2024 its stores still exist

I have many complaints about this particular store. Although the clothes looked very nice, and there was a pretty wide variety, I don’t think I will ever go back.
First of all, the store was insanely packed, which made it very difficult to walk around and actually look at all of the clothes. The line to the dressing room was very long, as well as the line to the checkout. So, you’ll likely end up waiting for 45 minutes if you want to try on and buy something. As annoying as it is, it’s not really something anyone can control, so I’ll give them that.
As for the things that could be improved, there are definitely a lot of them. For starters, it is a one size fits all store, so if your not exactly a size 2 and your pretty short (like me), your likely not going to have much luck in finding anything. I think the company would make so much more money if they just tried to be size and height inclusive. This is just so disappointing, considering there were so many clothes I liked and would’ve bought, had the company catered to my body type.
Not to mention, the prices are pretty high for what you’re buying.
A couple employees were pretty polite, but for the most part none of them actually even acknowledge you, or even try to be friendly. I honestly didn’t even know who the employees were, because they all looked like regular customers and didn’t wear any sort of distinctive uniform. A lot of them spent time talking to one another while they could’ve stood at the cash registers and taken care of the huge line.
Something that’s pretty annoying is that the store uses curtains in the dressing rooms instead of doors. I know curtains are more aesthetically pleasing, but it’s a little bit frustrating when there are kids running around and opening your curtains while you’re trying on clothes.
