The customer service in store is great but their service to contractors is really poor... extremely long response time, have to follow up with them often to get feedback, we had our house evaluated (materials required, etc.) with them and the quantities are very far from reality, they forgot a lot of things and this caused us more than $15,000 in surplus on our construction cost vs. with Patrick Morin on our old one where everything had been exact to the nearest 2x4 in quantities, none oversight

Special in their circular floating floor a1.29$ 12mm no demo on the floor he does not direct in the backyard with an employee he does not find after half an hour a second man arrives does not find a third and after a fourth he never found and yet they say he has a full palette. I went to the materials counter this week and he (I don't remember his name, but he's Arab) told me he didn't have time to look for my siding. He kindly offered to take my details and call me back the next day. The next day he didn't call me back. I called myself later, and he said again that he didn't have time, that he would call me back later. He never called back.
Poor service
Luckily the construction industry is slow, otherwise what would it be like? ??♂️
Finally I went to Patrick Morin, and in five minutes, I had my answer and I ordered $5,000 worth.

Very disappointed with the service received, we had our joists and roof trusses made with them and I had so many issues in terms of communication the day before my delivery date, nothing was prepared because a document was missing which would have been sent. had to be paid when the account was opened and when we placed the order then the day we were supposed to receive our beams their subcontractor did not give the right information I had to pay 3 guys $100/h sitting and waiting for 3 hours for nothing because the delivery arrived at 6:30 p.m. only to find a crane operator in rush ($640) the next day to lift the beams on the 2nd floor because no one from Pont Masson we were told that the next morning their crane operator was coming... Asser ordinary as a service especially when we are told that it is up to us to do the follow-ups and that the sellers no longer work with closing times but when you have no return call or return to your email and you have to call a other seller/represent to have information I believe I received bad service and threw money out the window if it has to be done again I do not recommend doing business with them sorry but my experience with pont masson was a failure

Extremely disappointed with the service at the Mirabel store, I buy from this
Store over $150,000/year of materials and products with my business. I tried to return a pair of new Milwaukee brand sheet metal scissors for $30 that were defective and unable to cut aluminum. However, the product has a lifetime warranty and is designed to cut much thicker and harder products. With original invoice, original packaging and within 8 days of purchase, store payment indicating a 10-day deadline for reimbursement. I go to the service, the clerk goes to ask the store manager then comes back to me saying it's not guaranteed, sorry. So I go directly to the office of the manager who has a shifty look and a stupid look that doesn't make any customer want to continue shopping with them. He tells me that it is Pont Masson's policy not to guarantee its products... I read back to him the 10 day regulations... having to fight like this to return a $30 product with a lifetime guarantee and this within the required time frame, I made it clear to them that they would never see him again. Do not recommend in any way. They should review the skills of their manager or transfer him to the concierge department where he will not have to deal with customers with his attitude that is disturbing for the reputation of the company...
I notice when reading the comments that I am not the only one in this situation.

Wow customer service!!I left Terrebonne to pick up two windows on a Thursday evening. I arrived at closing time and the doors were closed. Believe it or not, they opened and served me anyway. That’s customer service!!

I was very happy that a Masson bridge was coming 1km from my home; in Ste-Adèle. I have always been well served by the staff at the hardware store, but very disappointed by the quality of the pieces of wood and the refusal of the manager to let me choose!!
