I love it when you go to a store, pick something out you really like, go to self-checkout, and it doesn’t scan.
Then they have the audacity to say they can’t sell it to you because there’s no French writing on the item. They claimed it was a mistake, and the item shouldn’t be in the store due to the laws. They refused to sell it to me, making me feel like I did something wrong. I even said I was willing to pay the price of the item and didn’t care about the language since it was just a Halloween item. Ironically, there was French writing on it, but they still insisted it shouldn’t have come off the truck. They can't sell it ....
What doesn’t make sense is that this same item is available on Walmart.ca. What’s the difference if I buy it in-store or purchase it online and have it shipped to the store? It’s literally the same thing.
Workers need to be more compassionate and check their own website instead of making false claims about language issues and delivery mistakes when the product is actively being sold on their own website!!!
Which is Walmart.ca (canada) ..
And don't even try to converse in English—at this store , they're discriminating!
It’s really shameful for Walmart Canada to act like that.
This is exactly why I shop in the States! Problem with prices , and never once had a problem..

SHAME on the manager! store overall very dirty. Half rotten fruits and vegetables but on sale! We don't care about customers! Poorly stocked and disorderly shelves! Never again in this rotten Wallmart and I suggest going to France for a bit, we'll teach you how to work, you idiot!

Yesterday, July 16, 2024, I was stopped by an employee when leaving the store because "I rang the bell on the way out" according to this employee. I was outside and the employee was yelling at me so that I stopped me and she said to me "didn't you hear the alarm" I said no because there were a lot of people going out at the same time and I didn't notice that the alarm had gone off. She tells me that it rang when I passed by and demanded to see my bill. At this point it irritated me, I'm tired of being made to feel like a "thief". Apparently household products are the problem, can't you fix this problem? The next time someone calls me this way, I'm going to ask that the store manager be present.

I experienced racism at Walmart in Mascouche today, because the self-service employee Roxann treated me like a thief while checking my bill at the exit, even though she was just nearby when I scanned all the items and saw that all items were scanned. Despite this, she checked my bill again and after checking, she realized that I had scanned all the items, while right next door there were white people going out without checking their bill, there There was one who passed by, and the detector rang, but since she is white, the employees did not call on her and she left.
I advise people of my race to be very careful because there is also a risk of racism in this store, especially with the self-service employees.
In addition, when you complain about the service, they come in groups to add their share without even apologizing.
The store did not ask for our consent for invoice verification and on top of that, why is it only black people who are verified?
I plan to file a complaint for racism.

A whole row of items that have not been tagged at the correct price. The head cashier who dares to show an attitude and refuses to accept that there is a price error and puts the blame on "other customers who put the stock in the wrong place". So take us for truffles.

Walmart in Mascouche. Patience when trying on clothes. Only 2 fitting rooms. People wait in line on a Wednesday afternoon. Imagine the weekends. To avoid.

Lots of unpleasant and rude employees especially at the checkouts. When you choose to work at Walmart, you must at least like to offer good customer service since regardless of your position, you will have to interact with customers. I understand that they have to be extra careful to prevent theft, but as long as they are harassing customers and making them feel bad at the self-checkouts, they might as well open the checkouts again with cashiers!!!

I found an auxiliary wire on their website for 19.99 delivered on site the same item is 39.99 I show the cashier that there is a price error and that on the internet it is half price she tells me says to buy it online that she can't do anything, manager says the same thing.... amazing
