Manoir Ramezay is a cozy and charming hotel, not a typical fancy one but full of character. Built in the 18th century, it retains much of its original beauty and has a quaint, rustic side. The building is full of period architectural elements, with each room featuring different decor; some with stone and wood are described as absolutely gorgeous. While a little outdated, this adds to the homey feeling and charm. The owners are absolutely amazing, very pleasant and attentive, doing everything themselves including providing efficient and warm service. They go the extra mile to accommodate guests. The rooms are clean and quiet, though some are a little smaller than imagined. As an old building, sound can echo, so surrounding noises are sometimes audible. The hotel offers good value for money. Breakfast includes delicious fresh croissants, toast, cereals, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, and oatmeal, which is enough to satiate you for the day. A nice roof terrace is available, and there is also a rooftop spa. The whole town can sometimes smell of cow manure due to local field fertilization, which is worth noting for those planning to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Guests consistently state they would definitely stay again if in the area around Marieville.
