One of the only surviving philatelic shops. The owner (Luc Legault) is super nice and very helpful.Very honest. He told me one thing "it's not about the value of the stamp, it's about you having an emotional connection with it" I think this is the perfect advise for young collectors like me especially coming from a dealer. It is visible that he is passionate about what he is doing. I recommend to all.

Upon arriving on an announced open day on the internet, the door is locked so I take my chances and ring the doorbell. The owner, I presume, shows up to tell me the store is closed. I tell him I wanted to show him my stamp collection and special CAN coin. He tells me I'd have to wait outside until he finished his phone call. Yikes. I was cold so I suggested just waiting in the staircase above the shop; he accepts.10mins pass before he comes back to see me; saying "I told you it would take awhile, blah blah, thinking I had addressed a call while waiting. I showed him my special coin and he quickly told me: "Go spend it, that's what it's worth". I was annoyed by him and just decided to leave without showing him my aforementioned stamp collection telling him he was a bad greet.

(Translated by Google) The prices are not those in circulation, because asking for a 25 cents 2000, he explained to me that he was selling a complete set for 25 $, while he wanted to sell me only the 25 cents 2000 at 20 $ because my said that he did not exist in circulation only the 2000 and when I tell him to see for another 25 cents (not in circulation) he tells me look: you take or not take, then not a good day to have a good comment from me.

(Translated by Google) I went to this place to check the value of my stamps. Before building my collection, I had the time to leaf through the store's binder and discovered one of the stamps I own displayed at $50. When it was time to put together my collection, the salesman simply flipped through my binder without even looking and told me that my collection was worth $3. Honestly, I think he was trying to scam me. $3 is what an empty school bag costs. Some people have no sense of knowing the true value of things or money. Even if they claim to be experts, they are rather opportunistic charlatans. Especially since the customer just before had left with a bill of almost $300, just for a handful of stamps. To never do business again at this place which is in my opinion a booby trap for those who know nothing about the stamp market.(Original)J'ai été à cet endroit pour vérifier la valeur de mes timbres.
