This gem in Pointe Saint-Charles offers an impressive selection of South Asian, African, and Mexican products, including a range of exotic fruits and vegetables, imported fish, and fresh beef and chicken. The owner and the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful, making every shopping experience a pleasure. 8874 Rue Hochelaga, Montréal“I was hungry Monday evening ?So I tried my luck at ô weight vert... and WoW the girls who were there were super helpful and friendly. And I found several prepared meals, so the chicken and the lasagna (two excellent choices) I will definitely be going back!THANKS”
“Pasquier is a great independent chain that boasts a lot of ready-made meals and lots of counters with freshly made food. Great cakes too. Prices are considerably reasonable for many things, though I don’t think I would do all my grocery shopping here, as you’re still likely to get a better deal on your usual grocery buys elsewhere. I think Pasquier still deserves 5 stars for being a well designed store with lots of good amenities, and a great place for ready made meals and easy to cook / already prepped food. Very Whole Foods esque. Bravo.”
“A SUPER nice café, a very rich delicatessen. The decoration is very cheerful and full of energy, their chairs are comfortable. I tasted their latte which was very delicious made with love, and SUPER well presented! They have a sandwich menu and vegetarian choices. The employee was very kind and very welcoming, smiling and dynamic.Recommended!”
“The LOCO grocery store stands out for its commitment to bulk and ecology. The variety of products is impressive; There you will find a wide range of everyday items with more special ingredients, such as the essential seitan croquettes. Local products are well highlighted, supporting local producers and reducing the environmental footprint. As for the atmosphere, it is warm and welcoming, a true reflection of the community that revolves around this zero waste initiative. The team is also top notch, always ready to offer sound advice with a smile. A place where shopping becomes a conscious and pleasant act.”
“Excellent products for the most part. Some seem overpriced but affordable when on sale. It’s important to read the nutritional information since some products are high in sodium. A big help when short on time.”
“Here you can buy salted cod, Portuguese olive oil (there are many choices), and many Portuguese foods. The store clerk is friendly and this is a neighborhood grocery store with good quality and low prices.”

4001 St Laurent Blvd, Montreal“The best prices in town. Fresh products and interesting alternatives that cannot be found elsewhere. Several downsides, however: it smells of dried cod (on sale in the back of the shop), you will be served in English, it is chaos (crowded and no physical organization of the place) and it is relatively dirty. Open since 1927, it shows. Anyway, let's go there and hold our noses!”
10AM - 7PM
9:30AM - 6:30PM

5589 De Verdun, Montreal“Always a pleasure been coming here since Tondreau opened in 1986.....Same name same owner since then ...The staff is super friendly,I had accidentally dropped spices, that I placed my watermelon slice on ,thinking they were plastic when I took my watermelon the spice jars starting falling like dominoes, I was so sorry ,but it was no problem, the staff just hurried along and cleaned it up with a smile on their face , whilst I was apologizing.....Besides that , I never have any issues with the store ,the prices are just right ,if not better than large supermarkets,I can not & will never buy any meat anywhere but Tondreaus,my ground pork is done on the spot, I usually get 3 lbs made into 6 ½ lbs.....and you cannot beat the price ,or the quality of the meats...I live alone,I shop a few times a week ,I get my pork chops for an amazing price ....and my steaks.I have some pork chops in my freezer I took a picture to show an example of 2 good sized seasoned pork chops at $1.76 & $2.77...the prices are amazing ,and it is all Triple A, & different seasonings ,maple pepper and Chipotle ,there is Steakhouse and others .....?I seen a documentary and they showed how big super markets make the ground beef ,they put pieces from about 100 DIFFERENT COWS into the grinder and the same goes for the pork, all that came into my head (besides GROSS) was ,THANK GOD I HAVE TONDREAUS.....And thank you all the staff for you patience with me ? and your continuous great service.....?”

QC-132, Saint-Constant“It is one of the most supplied in stock. I visited a lot of super c and this one is well done.
Lots of varieties at low prices! Very happy to be stopping there!! The only downside can be giving it a little love. The entrance floor is outdated, painting needs redoing... the rest is well maintained.
I loved paying really cheap and finding everything.”
