I bought cedars worth $80 on special for $20 online. I waited for my order to be confirmed and proud of my deal, I paid someone to dig holes in my backyard. So I go to pick up my purchases today after work, in traffic, and when I arrive at Rona, I tell someone from the staff that I would like to see my trees before shipping them...Right away, I noticed that it wasn't the same product at all. The online purchasing manager, a lady who is not very friendly from the start, tries to make me believe that I am wrong, that it is indeed the type of cedar that I ordered..(oh no) Then, she tells me said that I received an email from Rona to tell me that I would have another type of cedar (eh..not at all)..That the ones I ordered were those from last year... .The manager definitely takes me for a suitcase....I hang around there for 30 minutes for I don't really know what reason and one of the employees comes to tell me that he's sorry, there are no more cedars like I ordered and they are going to cancel my order...And there, I explain to him that I just lost 1.5 times going back and forth and waiting for them, not to mention that I hired a man to plant them at the end of the week and I find myself without a tree...So I want compensation...It's very simple legally, Rona has put products for sale online without keeping its inventories up to date, Rona's person who managed my order didn't do their job of checking either and it caused me problems and a waste of time. The employee returns to see the friendly manager and I wait again...He comes back, Rona offers me a $20 gift card. Well yes...it doesn't even pay for my gas...I take a deep breath and I try to find an idea to get out of there, happy despite my frustration....I say to the young man, listen, I'm going to do a bit...I'm not happy and I could file a complaint with consumer protection. Indeed, I compromised with Rona, I paid and now Rona cannot honor its part of the contract...I tell the young man...Ask your manager if she would offer me 4 bags of brown mulch ( 4x4.69$) and 4 perennial plants which will probably end up in the trash since it is already September 24....The young person goes to see the manager and comes back with his answer: no, it's $20 or that she makes her complaint to consumer protection...speaking of me. Well, Madam Manager, you missed a great opportunity to cheaply repair a situation that I suffered because of Rona. To top it off, I was treated as if I was the problem...And then a complaint will be made!

The online ordering service is frankly disappointing. No one answers the phone - deadlines are not met. We ordered appliances for delivery in early October. I chose Rona specifically because I could choose the delivery date. I am called back to tell me that the deadlines have changed (more than 7 weeks after my order) and I cannot cancel my order without paying a 25% cancellation fee. The customer experience is terrible!
EDIT: Thank you for the answer that you copy and paste to all your dissatisfied customers. Please note that when I call customer service, they tell me to contact the store. Your store does not answer calls so it is difficult to get adequate service.

Very frustrating. The sink was delivered broken (broken piece) and Rona refuses to reimburse me (I had to install a broken sink in my new kitchen). Very sad, I do not recommend Rona's service for deliveries.

I bought a refrigerator on June 26. Delivery was supposed to be July 13th. I was called to tell me that it was finally out of stock, that I would have to wait 4 to 6 weeks. 6 weeks later, I contact customer service who tells me that I have to contact the store… when I contact the store, I am told that I have to call customer service because they can't do anything .
After being taken from one place to another, customer service informs me that the refrigerator on file is available for delivery. No one is capable of
Given a delivery date, 2 different customer service agents told me they would send me an email with the delivery date after contacting the store. Both times, no news.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the service I received both at the store and when calling customer service. As a customer, I really feel like the person on the line is trying to get rid of me to hang up and not, help me arrange delivery of my item.
My recommendation, buy your appliances elsewhere.

Placed an order online, requested for the item to be delivered in store for pick up, as it is an option of the website. Received a call from the store later the same day, telling me that they can't honor my order because they would have to pay an 80$ delivery charge out of their pocket to have the item delivered to their store. I explained that it's an option that they offer on the website (free in store pick up), but the gentleman on the other end didn't seem to care. Instead, he said he will cancel the order (and he did), and that I have to place a new one where I ask for the item to be delivered and pay the delivery fee. Not what I expected, I will be purchasing elsewhere.
