Staff was very pleasant to deal with. They had everything I was looking for in the store. They also installed my winter tires. Very professional. And WOW! the bathroom near the auto parts department was spotless.

For over a year, I have been storing my tires and maintaining my car at the Sainte-Dorothée garage, always satisfied with the service as well as the attentiveness of the employees at reception.
I would like to recognize exceptional customer service today October 23, 2024.
Congratulations to this young man who helped me save money on my bill and answer my questions regarding the exchange and return policy.

horrible canadian tire i have been trying to get in touch with ANYONE that actually works their but the lines all ring no matter what DEPT u choose NO ONE answers and after the phone rings 100 times they answer hang up on you !! DO NOT GO TO THIS ONE its the worst one in all LAVAL!!!!

The store staff this evening (September 24, 2024) were particularly impatient and rude to the 2 customers in front of me.
Were then unable to direct me where to leave my car key for overnight drop off for the garage. The employee told me I had to come back the next day and said she had never heard of such a thing. She then made fun of me with her colleague, who also didn't know what I was talking about, laughing in front of me at my question.
I found the key drop box outside.
I will keep my tire repair appointment and then never set foot in this store again. I was planning to buy new tires there for my vehicle and that of my wife, and I will go elsewhere, as well as for any other purchase. Walmart is next door.

Everything goes on sale eventually. That's the time to buy! Just set a reminder on the site and voilà, savings to you and yours.
Store is conveniently located off the autoroute. Quick in n out. Ample parking and friendly staff.

Inexperienced employees, not trained on solving problems and helping customers, rude, demanding you speak French to them, bossing older costumers around on where to stand in line. The whole vibe of the store is “ we’re entitled” They just don’t want to help in any way and the store is a mess, merchandise everywhere, random carts with merchandise that has to go on shelves, left in between isles. And it hasn’t changes in the past 3 years. Worst Canadian Tire store I’ve shopped in.

Very rude and unprofessional customer service. I had bought a car seat cover which ended up not fitting my car seat, I never used it and tried to return. The cashier "Jessey" refused to give me a full refund saying that I surely used it !! I have never used it and it was in it's initial condition, with original packaging.
This was not my first time returning an item that didn't fit my car and all the Canadian Tire shops gave me a full refund.
I explained her the situation and she just replied "Whatever you say...".
Worst customer service I have had in a shop so far.

***I RECOMMEND NOT BRINGING YOUR VEHICLE TO SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION!*** Very unpleasant and disappointing customer service experience. the mechanical knowledge and the customer approach is very poor. I was treated like an idiot by the technical advisor simply because I asked a simple, trivial question. I respectfully asked if they reprogram the TPMS after changing the tires. He replied, laughing at me, that it's not necessary. The counselor attacked me, telling me that he wouldn't want to be in my place and that I probably had to live with a constant headache. I'm far from being a difficult and tiring customer, I just asked a quick question. I would have paid the extra costs if it had taken place. When it came time to pay my bill, the advisor mentioned to me that he had asked the technician to reprogram the TPMS because I am a "TIRING CUSTOMER" and he doesn't want to see my face. . However, I didn't insist, I simply asked the question. I'm not sure that's the truth. The reprogramming process is noisy and causes each tire to activate the vehicle horn. The tire pressure sensor malfunction indicator is now illuminated on the dashboard after changing tires and no tire pressure reading. The pressures of the three tires were not equal and did not correspond to the position of the tires installed on the car. I myself have been a professional technical advisor and mechanic in a dealership for over 20 years. Despite my situation I had no choice in doing business with this Canadian tire exceptionally and will be my last time! I would never recommend anyone to bring their vehicle and trust these incompetent and arrogant employees.
A few days later, I reprogrammed the TPMS system myself and everything was back to normal.
