I bought a starter yesterday, August 7, 2024, the agent told me to bring back the replaced part and the invoice then the store reimbursed me $58, that done, I presented myself with the changed part and invoiced it; an agent told me no without the box we won't refund you even though he never asked for the box to be returned. I had to call the manager to find a solution, the latter agreed to reimburse me. Despite this, the agent at the counter raised his voice and was annoyed, telling me that next time I must bring the box. His colleague who was next to him intervened in the same way. It was really unpleasant

I've been client from Napa many times, however, last time I went it was really disappointed how rude the treated me. I was looking for something very simple and looking for some advice on an a product they sell, and even before starting the conversation they told me that they don't offer courses or particular advices, they told me majority of clients are main retailers and having to serve particular customers are a waste of time.
I would recommend avoid going to this particular location, since they are busy with macro retailers you'll be not serve as client, the customer attention is one of the worst I've ever experienced in Canada.
For the managers and upper executives, please pay attention to customers attention, two employees were under the same bad customer training (not all though), but as client, I can tell the experience is completely frustrating.
Also please note your clients are as important as any retailers, and you would never know if by coincidence your particular client is owner of a retailer ;)

Never buy anything from the store because you will never get any warranty. Napa stores make their own policies and all the employees harass you together. I will never go to any store of Napa ever again.

It's the place that helps out especially on weekends when you're in trouble.Quality let's be frank it's not like original parts (OEM)...BUT OKAY it's just a repair.Sometimes you have to adjust certain parts and it works. As long as the price is acceptable.

Very happy that it's open on a Sunday. Ideal for apprentice mechanics who break a part on a Saturday and need the vehicle on Monday. Friendly and competent staff, I recommend this establishment to everyone.

A terrible and embarrassing experience.Date: Sunday morning, Oct 7, 2023I went to the store for paint to finish a DIY project. 40 minutes after, I left the store empty-handed, with a terrible feeling of humiliation.I arrived early that morning and was the sole customer of the paint department. I approached an employee with a photo of my car, outlining my intention to purchase paint and sandpapers for a rust repair project. However, the employee seemed more interested in redirecting me to a garage in east Montreal. He made a great effort in this:- He claimed that any DIY work of this sort will end up damaging the car; as a painter in the field for 30 years, he knows it.- He sketched on paper every steps that should be taken, to show me that this is not something one can undertake by following youtube videos- He went out his way to take out a sand-blaster, showed to me how it works on small cavities - any dust-removing work without it would be useless, the rust will grow underneath the paint and come back the next year- He showed me a tube of something for curbing the rust, although I need only a very small amount of it, I will have to buy a whole expensive tube - only garages can do it more economically- He asked me about the primer I used, and then told me it was not good enough to bind to the metal- He reiterated it is free to get an estimate from that garage and there’s no obligation; he used to work for the garage and they do a good job, and he got nothing off this reference- He told me this story of how someone made a good profit by simply following his advice of giving up his DIY project in favour of having it done in garageHe did not check the paint until about 10~20 minutes after, then attempted to discourage me: “the paint should go with a black primer, and your primer is not the right color…the can of paint is not easy to operate: if you hold the can too close, the color will get too dark, if you hold it too far, the color will be too light…”After I checked the garage’s location and told him it is too far to work out for me, his patience waned and challenged me: “what’s the problem? They can lend you a car! You take your car there in the morning and you can take it back in the evening!”I told him that it was actually a nearby garage, which I had visited this summer that suggested me to undertake the work myself due to the small size of the rust (this is a truth, not something I made up). He then began giving me a speech about the untrustworthiness of nearby garages. When at last I asked if he could help me with sandpaper, he suddenly snapped at me: “I am not here to teach you how to do your work, you are wasting my time!”, and walked away. I stood there for about 1 minute, totally speechless, then left the store.PS: I wrote the review the day it happened, but refrained from immediate posting to ensure accuracy and fairness. To that employee:You are welcome to put corrections and add any points I may have missed. A suggestion: consider putting up a sign with the coordinates of that garage for your DIY customers, and illustrate to them how they will inevitably damage their vehicles.I still have your reference paper with the garage’s coordinates.

Really bad service in that point (newman) the associates doesn't want to give a good service.1st you've to disassemble all your car for show them the piece that you need. maybe they don't want to search in the system and expend time with the costumer (was only me, no more costumers) for resolving all the questions that we've. (we're not a technicians ppl). otherwise the actitud vs the question really bad and i didn't see any performance or costumer service training with that person, his 360 review and rise salary have to be affected. I'm not going never never again to that place and my recommendation to everyone is 0,0%.If the manager or director from that warehouse read this message, kindly send Hr to train those associates, and create a really OPL involving costumer service. How one grand father 80 years old have to take out one light without any training and brung the bulbs inside because they do not know how to use the car reference in the system for find the substitution.Maybe youtube is more important that one costumer.

I have never experienced this level of AMAZING customer service before! We went to NAPA to order new parts for our 1977 Vandura RV. After a series of trial and error, we learned that our starter wasn't working. Having never replaced one before, Mark, offered to come out and help us after his shift (!) He ended up helping us diagnose the problem for hours (there was a few other things going on). We were stranded in the parking lot over night, and he even came back to check on us again the next day right before we fixed the problem. There is a lot more I could write, but the bottom line is that this store helped us in a very challenging time. We were stranded. We cannot say thank you enough for Mark, Darren and Martin for helping with the returns. You guys have made us lifetime NAPA customers and we will always tell people about this. It was unbelievably knowledgeable staff, mixed with concern and genuine human kindness. We'd give you guys 10 stars if we could!!! Thank you!

Good newly renovated store they always have a good choice for parts but you can always find cheaper on the Internet. On the other hand, in an emergency it's a good place

be careful when you buy any paint from napa, it would not be able to return for certain type of paint.I bought a custimized color paint from the paint department, and I showed the guy the primer and transparent paint I have in house, he said these paint (in my house) does not work with the plastic or the customized paint he made.and he asked me to buy a primer and a transparent paint from napa, then I bought itwhen I arrived home I find that my primer is fit for plastic, also the transparent paint is good for the custimized color paint as well.and I ask to return the paint in the phone call, the guy in the phone say no. and ask me to be there and talk with the manager. I do not want to drive 25 km to ask 50 $ money back...I was so sad at that momentupdate ---------------------- ---------------------------luckily I happened to pass the store to return the paint, the people checked the paint and I got refund.
