The diversity of products from all origins is incredible. Great discoveries every time. The only downside is the service at the charcuterie counter. For the rest, it has become my favorite grocery store.

So I have mixed reviews. Saturday at 7:30pm I went in and bought a vegetable platter at 30%. By the time I got home and took it out of my shopping bag, I realized a horrible odor coming from the package. I didn't realize it while shopping. I return to the store within an hour to return it around maybe 8:45pm. It was completely rotten. The cashier who I spoke with, her name was Sarah Geanne (I might be spelling her name wrong). She smelt the package and she agreed that it was foul. She called her supervisor over the phone (her name was Sarah also). And her supervisor refused a refund because it was a 30% off purchase. Normally I understand, but I asked if she could come and I could speak to her face-to-face, because I had purchased it just one hour prior. I asked if she could come down and smell it, because even though it was put at 30%, it should have never been reduced if it was rotten to begin with. Although the vegetables hadn't turned colors, you can even ask the cashier, it smelled worse than any rotten food I've ever experienced in my life. How I didn't realize it while shopping is really a mystery. She refused to come down to talk to me, and then when I asked the cashier for her name she almost refused to give me her name. The purpose of this post is not to get anyone in trouble. But honestly, I understand that procedures are procedures, but in this case if I purchase something an hour prior and it was bad, I really think that the store should have offered me a refund or at least an exchange. All this to say, I think that the cashier that served me is absolutely wonderful. She even told me that if she was the supervisor she would help me because she realizes that this isn't fair. Whoever her direct boss is, you have a real winner and you have a great employee. Regarding the supervisor, I have no positive comments. The only thing I will say, customer service is not her strong suit. To all of Maxi's shoppers, even though our economy is horrible at the moment and sometimes buying things at a reduced price is beneficial, avoid it at this location. Because it might be bad or rotten and they will refused refund even within 1 hour of purpose because of "the discount". Thank you.

The store is open. But the maps show that it is closed. This is incorrect.
September 12, 2024 I bought a pita which is valid until September 25, but it was already moldy. It's scandalous. I had to throw it away. Shame on the bakery.

This is an excellent supermarket, all prices are within your reach. I worked here and all the staff were very ethical with me, an excellent and well prepared team. I recommend them.

Very bad location , only one cashier on the fast serve . Self service keep on logging , will never come back.very long line up. Person on the self service very rude, talking a lot. Very very bad day. And while paying 4 employee walking relax. They should remove whoever the manager is .Don’t deserve this kind of job..

Checkout #1 at 2 p.m. on August 9, the gentleman at the checkout looked down on us and in a very unpleasant manner. It bothers him a lot that we pay for 3 bags and he responds very badly when we just want to make sure that the bags have been put on our bill.
Could it be because of our accent from another country?
Employees of this store should receive training in tolerance and openness to other cultures, and customer service.
Very bad experience!

A woman who was at customer service today was very rude, she treated my daughter and I with racism and discrimination. He didn't want to give me his name. and he made fun of us. I would like to report this to the Maxi manager.
