Terrible customer service and misleading prices. I was the victim of a real scam. One product was clearly priced at $39.99 on the shelf and in the flyer, but at checkout I was charged a much higher price. When I complained, the manager, Amir Khoury, was extremely rude and refused to satisfy me. He even showed me the door, calling me a liar. The price accuracy policy displayed in the store does not appear to be respected. I absolutely do not recommend this store and I will file an official complaint with the OPC.

Very disappointed by the service at this Canadian Tire location. I’ve just waited 2h45 for a change of tires when the appointment is 1h30 maximum. I waited 10 minutes to be served at the beginning because the only guy working at the reception was attending a gentleman who had many questions. However, the manager told me it took longer because I was the one being late…
I’ve been changing my tires at Canadian Tire Kirkland for many years; the service is always impeccable and they change tires in 1 hour. Never returning to the LaSalle location again.

I witnessed such blatant racism against an Indigenous man that I was in a state of disbelief. When he pulled out his tax status card the cashier got visibly irritated, and said "you should have thought of that before!" and proceeded to "SHHHHH!!!!!" him when he tried to speak.
The customer asked to see a manager, to which the cashier scoffed.
The Caucasian French Canadian manager was incredibly dismissive, approached the man with a blasé attitude, seemingly annoyed by his presence as he literally said, "There's no problem here. We will just take off the tax" completely ignoring and invalidating the real issue: racism. When called on this, the manager said that "he knows racism" as his "daughter is Spanish and his best friend is Native."
The cashier said a quick curt, "desole" as she was trying to further marginalize the client, when the manager had to tell her to stop. SO- was the "apology" to the client or her manager? Additionally, she said it in French after the customer stated multiple times that he did not understand French. No real apology was issued. The manager kept trying to gas light the man, saying that there was no problem and he got his tax exempt... Honestly, disturbing to witness.
There were other cashiers around. When the manager was asked to ask the cashiers nearby their version of the story, the manager dismissed that fast and said he would check the cameras (yeah right lol, he seemed super concerned).
The two younger cashiers were shocked and embarrassed with the older employees actions. And didn’t want to speak up.
The customer asked the manager how he was going to make him feel comfortable leaving that situation, to make him feel better walking out of the store after being treated in such a condescending way. Again, the manager cut him off before he could finish his sentence and stated that he heard the cashier apologize. He was basically pressuring the man to leave the store and had zero empathy for the discriminatory manner in which both the cashier & he treated him.
This is an unnacceptable way to treat people.

Everything was there this time...at least with what we wanted but small clashes between customers and the cashier over having to leave their bags....annoying

Important to avoid this store. I asked to replace one item with another because the box was a little torn and I didn't want to have a problem if I ever returned the item so the manager intervened and made me feel like he was doing me a favor because he opened the package so I could see the item before purchasing it and asked me to either take the same box or leave the store. This is the behavior of an unprofessional person, not worthy of the position of manager and it shows no respect for customers. Store to avoid!!!!! I recommend you just go to the other Canadian store 5 minutes away.
I also recommend that the store owner, if he is interested in saving his business, immediately replace his manager with a competent person, who has the ability to listen and is concerned about customer satisfaction. Looking through the list of reviews, I don't find the other comments encouraging. So, I'm not wrong and really this store is a shame!
Certainly, I would have a response to my comment from the owner to contact customer service to resolve the situation. I want to save you your time and mine too because I don't have time to waste with you and it is important that you communicate instead with your manager and take the necessary actions.

It’s been a long time since I bought from Canadian Tire LaSalle. They refuse all returns, even those purchased the same day, if the box has simply been opened.

Don't go there for the garage. They don't even know how to install brake pads into the caliper piston. They smoothed the pad support so that it fits more easily into the piston. My brake pads are making a terrible noise, despite the fact that I have gone back several times to ask them to fix it, according to them everything is correct.
I had to go to another garage to have it fixed, they knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it within minutes. Watch video!
