“This is my neighbourhood go to store. I love to cook and experiment and the variety of spices and other food stuffs this store has on hand is incredible. While I've been shopping there for a while I today decide to get to know the names of the staff there. Looking for some great prices it's worth dropping by. Damn I forgot to pick up the bag of onions I wanted to at a great price. I think it was under three dollars for a ten pound bag of yellow onions. Onions keep well so better than putting money into the pockets of the Wallen empire.”

Fairly certain this store is owned or partially owned by a woman as it is TOTALLY adapted to parents with babies or toddlers. They offer special parking spots for families which closer to the door. They offer both Car seat strollers and Toddler car strollers. Most importantly though, I’ve twice had my little guy crying in the store to see the staff open up a new cash for me to get me out the door faster.
I really appreciate the attention they bring to families.

“They now have self check outs. I am for self check outs but now when I am paying extra for the food these salaries to be covered in iga. IGA charges extra exactly for that reason because they have cashes and bagging. The audacity. They renovated so all the bio and natural stuff are in one section and they reaaranged the location of many things. Very expensive as you would expect form IGA except some local stuff and sales.
Update: they did some price reduction but not enough, absolute insanity for most things, I have no clue why people ever come here.”

“West End Grocery has a good selection of food! They have a walk in cooler with many selections of drinks. They have a good selection of sandwiches you can take on the go, and other prepared foods. I found my favourite spicy lime chips there too. There's lots of Reece's chocolate bar variations that you can see in the photo below.”
