“Chu of Italo Egyptian origin and I found here everything I was looking for, variety of fruits and vegetables, traditional products, Greek cheese and olives!! I've been living in the area for 8 years and the quality has never changed, also the price is really reasonable!! Thanks Steve ?”
“Fresh fruits and veggies . Amazing deli with cold meats that are not past there best before dates and an amazing staff , from the owners on down. Please keep up the good work guys.”
“Always nice to come here. I've been going to this store since I was 5 years old and I always love finding good healthy products here. The staff is always so nice. I hope they will stay there when my children grow up.”
“Shopped there a few days ago, fresh goat legs, oxtail and cow foot. Also their vegetables were nice and fresh.Their store is well stocked and clean.Really worth it to shop there.Go there once you will always go back!”
“Always a pleasure been coming here since Tondreau opened in 1986.....Same name same owner since then ...The staff is super friendly,I had accidentally dropped spices, that I placed my watermelon slice on ,thinking they were plastic when I took my watermelon the spice jars starting falling like dominoes, I was so sorry ,but it was no problem, the staff just hurried along and cleaned it up with a smile on their face , whilst I was apologizing.....Besides that , I never have any issues with the store ,the prices are just right ,if not better than large supermarkets,I can not & will never buy any meat anywhere but Tondreaus,my ground pork is done on the spot, I usually get 3 lbs made into 6 ½ lbs.....and you cannot beat the price ,or the quality of the meats...I live alone,I shop a few times a week ,I get my pork chops for an amazing price ....and my steaks.I have some pork chops in my freezer I took a picture to show an example of 2 good sized seasoned pork chops at $1.76 & $2.77...the prices are amazing ,and it is all Triple A, & different seasonings ,maple pepper and Chipotle ,there is Steakhouse and others .....?I seen a documentary and they showed how big super markets make the ground beef ,they put pieces from about 100 DIFFERENT COWS into the grinder and the same goes for the pork, all that came into my head (besides GROSS) was ,THANK GOD I HAVE TONDREAUS.....And thank you all the staff for you patience with me ? and your continuous great service.....?”
“Great local grocery store with great management and staff. My go-to for great produce and a quick bite from their prepared foods. They have a nice selection of local wines and beers as well. Can always find what I'm looking for. These guys are the real deal.”

5855 Rue de Jumonville, Montréal“Very small but very practical. The grocery store offers a good variety of foods for such a small place. In addition to helping out, you can find products from the Arhoma bakery there.”
“A family store, with the kind of high quality, reasonable pricing and friendly service that makes you keep coming back. And some unexpected bonuses, like excellent coffee beans and a few very nice imported cheeses.”

515 Rue Roy E, Montréal“We stumbled upon this market on our visit to Montreal, they have so many organic produce options and tons of vegan options at great prices. It’s a super cute shop too with friendly workers. Can’t wait to return!”
Open 24 hours
5237-5301 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal“Best blueberries!!! And their open 24 hours! Great news for a rushing traveller trying to see everything! Staff are super friendly and the prices are very reasonable! Coming here next time I’m in Montréal!”
“Very friendly owner and decently equipped store. Wouldn't recommend all vegetables but certain ones are ok depending on the freshness. Dry store items are well stocked.”
“I do recommend!!! Its kept clean and well stocked. They have items you may not find at your local grocery store. The fuits and veggies look good. Prices are fair. A few times I found staff to be a little huffy but for most part they are good. The store has quality items and the fresh salad bar is amazing. Good deals on fruits often.Five stars because produce is fresh..so are bakery goods. Located close to metro Cote des Neiges or you can get there by bus165.”
“Very good grocery store and above all very good butcher. I made couscous with the meat recommended by the butcher, we enjoyed it ?. The caterer is also excellent, especially their enpeniadas.”
“From 7 a.m., staff always ready, products always fresh! Several comparable on the board but far unbeatable owe this success mainly to the owner who between them are a team of fire bravo to them and their team”
“This is the only place for a few years now that I get my honey. It comes in various sizes and I normally pick it up by the bucket. It is value for money. There is a variety of honey with different taste and wild flowers is my favourite. In addition to honey, they sell all kinds of squash and very competitively priced. Now my new fav is garlic from Quebec. They sell 2 for $5 and trust me, they are worth it. They are huge size and when you cut them in small pieces and fry them, they become crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is our new discovery. Garlic that you get from your regular super markets will never come close. This stall is located in Marche Atwater in the open section at the very end of the market.Well worth a visit. The lady is exceptionally nice!”
“The owner and main cook are friendly and professional. They are experts are their craft. Have always provided good advice and great service. Small or big orders, it is cooked well and on time. Their grilled loup-de-mer and spicy Mexican shrimps are awesome. Kids love the fried breaded bass and rice with shrimps. Owner will even make big platters for larger gathering.”
“Best grocery store in the neighborhood, the manager is adorable and warm, thank you to him for his joie de vivre. Also, there are products from all over the world.
LGBTQ friendly!”

6601 Bd Monk, Montréal“The only reliable place to pick up fresh veggies and fruits on monk street, I often visit and they are ok. Just need to be a bit careful as they carry some dated products, and prices for some products may be slightly high but It's understandable knowing that there are not many places like this available in the area.”
8 AM - 7 PM
1550 Bd Daniel-Johnson, Laval“Great fish to eat. Nuts are amazing but fruits go bad fast but are still tasty. If you go with your wife be sure she will be watched by the workers. Will probably go back for the fish and nuts ……..”
“This is my go-to spot for fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, and dried fruits. Prices are notably lower compared to larger grocery chains, and there are fantastic deals on items approaching the end of their shelf life. It's recommended to buy in reasonable quantities to prevent spoilage, given that the produce may not have the same extended shelf life as in larger stores, as the produce is more ripe and hasn't apparently been treated with chemicals for prolonged preservation. Payment options are limited to cash or debit cards. While parking may be busy, the turnover is quite rapid.”
“Customer for a dozen years at the Mercier fruit shop. I often find what I'm looking for, cheaper than at the local grocery store. Very happy to have this business nearby. Really friendly staff!”
