Metro Lac Etchemin offers a good quality product selection with a nice variety of choices, though they often run out of special products on Sunday mornings. The charcuterie department no longer slices meats. Customers have experienced occasional price errors at checkout and sometimes find the shelves a bit empty. As the only major grocery store in the area, Metro Lac Etchemin faces little competition, and prices may be higher compared to larger urban grocery stores. Despite these challenges, the store provides an important service to the surrounding communities.
