This is the big plaza off boulevard de la Gappe. It's technically called SmartCentres Gatineau, not to be confused with SmartCentres Hull which is on boulevard du Plateau and is considerably smaller. All these plazas kind of look all the same but I have to say that during this Covid-19 Pandemic, I felt much safer walking outside and going to stores in a plaza than in an enclosed mall. This is pretty much the only time in my life when I prefer a plaza to a real shopping mall, considering cold Canadian winters and my aversion to precipitation of all types, lol. This plaza is huge. The main stores are Walmart, Michaels, Dollarama and Winners. There's also a Bulk Barn, Bouclair, GNC, EB Games, L'Équipeur (which is Mark's in the rest of Canada, formerly Mark's Work Warehouse), Golf Town, Ardene, Moore's, Think Kitchen and Structube. For fashion, they have Reitmans, RW & Co, Tommy Hilfiger, Thyme Maternity, Addition Elle, and Aldo. They have a few banks and other services. Food options are limited to Barbie's (a BBQ place), Luxx Deli Bistro, Boston Pizza and Subway. It's nothing too special, but it has a Winners, so extra points for that, lol.
