Wow wow wow this place is amazing, even a small task like getting a web order ready is too complicated, 2 days later I call to ask where my order was because it was not ready I spoke with 4 person, 2 of them were manager they told me we will call you back, they call me back 5 min later to ask me my order number, what were they doing during that time, no clue. No one find my order but they charge me for it.
Absolutely the worst custumer service you can imagine, completely incompetent management team. If you are the manager of this place please go on the floor and train your pepole well I've been working for your competitors and trust me if I had behave like you management team behave with me I would have been out. Please go buy somewhere else this store should be look by the head office.

Asked for some help to get some lumber down. Waited 10 minutes and nobody showed up. Grabbed what I could. Every piece cracked. Garbage.

I purchased a custom kitchen at Rona boul. from Plateau to Gatineau, I did business with Gino Pimentel. WoW WoW WoW, we had 5 star service, we met with Gino 3 times to do the evaluation, the plans and the final order. Gino is a very human person, attentive to our needs, good advice and very patient. He was able to answer all our questions, we always felt kindness and above all the concern to guide us well in our choices and our final decisions. We are very very satisfied, our kitchen has been installed since September 2024 and we are very happy. Thank you Gino for your 5-star service, your professionalism, your patience and the love of your job. You are an exceptional employee and Rona should be proud to count you among their dedicated employee. I have worked in customer service for 38 years and when I make a comment it is because I mean it.

I just bought an air compressor. It was the demo on the floor. I asked for a rebate, and they refused to give it because the item was already on sale. I'm not sure that is a good enough reason! I should get about 20% off since I am getting a demo. I hope someone can resolve this. I already paid for the item and brought it home.
EDIT 1: I contacted the number provided. The agent on the phone had no clue about my review. I was asked to provide my email address so they can send me an email to which I have to reply with pictures of the item I bought along with a picture of the receipt. I'm surprised by such a request when my initial review already has those pictures. The email I received was from
[email protected]. Quick suggestion: maybe don't ask me to call a number to resolve my issue when your internal departments don't talk to each other, and I still need to provide all the same information to whoever picks up the phone.

Tried returning some unused items. Cashier needed an override. Had to wait close to 15 mins for a manager to show up and do it. As usual a disappointing experience at this location.

I've always been happy with my purchases from RONA at Le Plateau. Recently, Philippe Hurtubise, the Directeur Adjoint and Michael at the entrepreneur's desk assisted me with a large item to be returned. They were A1. Big thanks!

Not a very poor service if we compare to the service received at Rona+, they don't answer the phone or the customer service is not good. I prefer to go to other branches

This store has the worst service in the paint department that I have ever seen. I waited for over an hour and then was told they couldn’t make the colour I asked for.

Shelves are usually poorly stocked at this location and selection is not very good compared to other building supply stores. Staff does not seem very knowledgeable on the products or where they are located.

I ordrered washing machine . The delivery men is arrogant and want to show that. Instead of helping he told this is not my business. On the top that he enters the house the house with working shoes . Bad service: slow and without basic knowledge. Cashier operations always take a long time. Getting an item from the warehouse takes 30-45 minutes.
They are lucky to have the plateau's captive clientele. Home Depot is much better and cheaper.
